Not a great set of results taken in isolation but not good enough for what exactly? Surely promotion is the goal so it's likely to be good enough for that. Not good enough to go up as champions? Probably. But what in your mind what exactly is it not good enough for?

Promotion is the goal.

I couldn't imagine another team being 2nd in the league and getting promoted, but having fans point out negative stats.

Must be so sad focusing on the bad things, especially when this season is such a success.

You are going to be a barrel of laughs next season when things don't go our way, especially if your this negative when we have had an amazing season.

Because lately their is Nothing positive to say.

The Buz has gone and many of us were straight and honest about it saying we need to Strengthen in January.

We were Top for so long and that Title we’ve given away and as fans we should look where we lost it.

The positive is that Bolton and Bradford do not look like catching us and we will get over the line.

It’s not, that’s what worries me for next season.

We will have to spend big.

We have beaten yes very poor and low opposition. The Championship will be an other world.

Those four defeats were two against Lincoln twice, Bradford and Bolton.

We were well beaten by Lincoln both times to be fair.

Bradford game was early in the season and although they did deserve to win because they defended well and took their chances, it was a close game. We then beat them away deservedly to make up for it.

Bolton away was a really tight game and was going towards the right result which would have been a draw until they scored a wonder goal right at the end.

I always say the table doesn't lie at the end of the season. Lincoln look on course to win the league so have to be called the best team and we'll deservedly join them in the Championship as the second best team.

Good thing for us is we are where we are having played all but one of our games against the current top six, with just one home game against any of them left.

Bolton have to play four and Bradford have to play two.

As long as we get promoted that’s all that matters.
I do agree though that we will have to sign 5/6 players to just stay in the championship.

I'm not a negative poster when it comes to this season.
But better results there may of given us a shot at the title. But I feel the bigger points dropped were the Blackpool home and away and Burton home and away. As they are/ we're teams we should be taking 4 to 6 points minimum. And ended up with 1 of each

You said it yourself. Champions. I’ll take 2nd place although we have tried our best recently to f**k that up. Just a bit fortunate Bradford and Bolton are not making the most of our poor form.

How Much League One Prize Money Does the Winner Get?

The winner gets around £2 million in League One prize money as well as a relatively small merit payment and whatever facility fees have been accrued as the biggest draw in the division en route to taking the title.

Promotion to The Championship means at least £11million extra in Tv money.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE RUNNERS UP GET IN LEAGUE 1 ?
