will the championship be easier

daft as that may sound doubt there will be many championship sides that come to cardiff next season and park tge bus. teams that go head to head with us think well beat especially with hopefully a few new players.
i was really depressed coming out the stadium today but bolton and bradford results have cheered me up.

I was thinking the same.

No, i believe we'll get destroyed most weeks; we're too soft.

We'll see what BBM is made of over the summer. It needs to be ruthless.

Teams won't sit all game, but when they break, they'll be more end results than we currently see.

I agree.

It most definitely will not be.
It’s basic the function of leagues the higher up the harder it gets that’s why the better teams earn the chance to go up a league. It be crazy if promotion was to an easier league that would have to be serious questions ask about the functionality of the league.

This team will be a lot more comfortable in the championship I'm convinced of it, we are a much better team when we don't have to play against 2 banks of 4 on the edge of there penalty areas which is why we look a lot more threatening in away games lately

Yes we 100% need to invest over the summer but the bottom half of the championship is awful this season and even with our side as it is now we wouldnt go down in my opinion

I think we play better against teams that want to also try and play football. So difficult to play against teams that just stick 11 men behind the ball

It's definitely not going to be easier, aswell as creating more tactics - BBM needs to get the team in the gym more. We're too light weight, the physical teams have proved that time and time again this season

Going to be harder in the Championship and agree with most of the reason given above .

A totally different level, I really worry for us we will need massive investment.
Many of our squad are No where near Championship standard.

If we keep the same squad including the loan players (it’s a small squad) we will be in a relegation battle , that’s my honest opinion. The championship as we all know is brutal.

We've hammered everyone who's not played a low block this year and should see less of it at the next level, the obvious trade off is the quality is higher. I've got a sneaky suspicion we'll make the playoffs provided it's more or less the same team

That’s exactly how I see it.

Nope
HUUUUGE IF
But If Tottenham go down then expect them to be 1st all season
Then you have Burnley and Wolves which could be occupying the 2 play-off spots
Then you have unknowns like Lincoln who have not been in the league since 1998.
Also you would have teams like Derby, Bristol, Sheffield United and the 3 teams who fail to make it into the Premier League via the play-offs fighting for a chance in the play-off spots.

2 extra positions in the league for the play-offs would help Cardiff out
We just need a few signings (Back-up striker to Salech) to make the team bigger and stronger and
then we will be top half of the table.

Forecast For 2026/27 Championship Table:
1. Tottenham/West Ham
2. Middlesbrough/Millwall/Ipswich
-
3. Sheffield United
4. West Brom/Leicester
5. Watford/Norwich
6. Birmingham
7. Derby
8. Cardiff

That's what I think might happen but who knows
