we are so fortunate Bolton and Bradford can't go on a winning run of games.
AND if they don't beat Port Vale then they got a tricky game next in Plymouth away.
So big chance for both Bolton AND Bradford.
Bradford got a winnable game next in Northampton at home.

I’m sure other results will eventually get us over the line Annis but a serious overhaul of players needed for the championship. Plus a plan B and C from the coach.

I don't think we're quite at that stage yet. Of course you never want the teams around you to win but we're nowhere near relying on their results for anything. Whatever happens we'll still be 2nd going into this break, it's just a matter of how many points ahead we'll be.

So, it was a point gained in the end against another team who turned and parked their bus in the wrong car park, i.e.the 18 yard box?

I was as disappointed as anyone with the two ‘home’ results this week but thankfully the work of BBM and his team over the season (one hand tied behind his back) has been incredible!

Despite the recent ‘blip’, we are in the driving seat because we have been consistent over the season. We are nearly there now and the only debate on that should by ‘at which game will it be confirmed’?

Bolton and Bradford should fight it out for 4th place.

Whoever finishes 3rd will probably play Plymouth and neither of them would want that.

To beat these sides around the bottom of the league at this stage of the season as they are fighting to avoid relegation, just look at the Bradford and Bolton results today. That said we need to be better than we are!

Yes it's the old saying "it's a marathon not a sprint". If we go up we would have deserved it.

4 wins from our last 7 games guarantees promotion if my maths are correct.

As I stated on another thread we already have the points in the bag that's 11 points clear of Bolton and 12 points clear of Bradford with 7 games left job done I recon

Our form won't cost us promotion but it has cost us top spot which is a shame because we were the talk of the league for 2/3s of the league and now it will be all about Lincoln who obviously deserve it but we should have made them fight harder for it this last month but we pretty much gave them the league

I know promotion is the aim but to lead the league the way we have most of this season it feels like such a slap in the face knowing lincoln will probably win with games to spare

Plesse nobody say its a point gained, I heard somewhere! It certainly is and it also shows what pressure and fatigue does to even good teams. Teams at the bottom like Blackpool are battling for their lives. Its never easy.

The maximum Bolton can get now is 87 points. That's 7 straight wins. Our 'accumulated' points are very helpful indeed so currently we need 11 points to be promoted and finish on 88 points.
