Coventry had a smaller wage bill than Cardiff City last season.

Coventry finished 5th.

Cardiff finished 24th.

Crap managers over several years bringing in average players on big wages

Yes but it took the dictator Tan two months last summer to decide our next manager, he gave the job to Riza who was totally out of his depth from day one. He then could have sacked him at christmas, easter or after the 7-0 demolition at Leeds (a new manager at any of these times would have kept the squad we had up) but decided to wait until it was too late with three games to go.
