PLAYERS EXPECTED TO REURN AFTER INTERNATIONAL BREAK :bluebird:

Salech back after international break after neck, chest, back issues. Pain has gone .

Cardiff are currently suffering a bad dip in form, only winning 2 of their last 6 games including 3 defeats.

Blackpool who they play this Saturday are currently in the relegation area and so City fans will expect to get the promotion bandwagon back on track. :bluebird:

BBM:

"From today and tomorrow onwards we have a very specific focus on who we're going to play against, their strengths and what they do well. We also look at what we particularly must do in situations of the game that can score us the goals to win it."

“We have a dressing room that’s full of players with exceptional talents.”

Brian Barry-Murphy says he's hoping to have Yousef Salech and Isaak Davies back in the first-team fold after the upcoming international break, in what could be a substantial boost to Cardiff City's promotion charge.

“ NO NEW INJURIES AFTER TUESDAY NIGHTS DEFEAT AT HOME TO WYCOMBE, JUST OSHO SUSPENDED.”

BBM :

“I think we’re in pretty good form, performance wise. We want to win all our eight remaining games. Our intention is to try and win every single one.”

“The players’ efforts were incredible.”

“I thought we were in control of the game at all stages, even with ten men. I thought we were the dominant team.”

TEAM NEWS:

Osho is Banned due to his Red Card

Salech still not fully fit to actually Start

Isaak Davies still out injured yet again

Eli King out all season

“Our focus is completely on Saturday and producing a performance that will allow us to win. After the international break we’ll come back and try and finish the season in a brilliant manner.”

BBM:

“We just look at the team in front of us, always studying them as much as possible but always with the returning focus of what our players can do to give us the best chance of beating them. We had a tough game against them at their ground, but it was an interesting game, and we took a lot from it. We’ve seen improvement since then.”

He continued: “We have a dressing room that’s full of players with exceptional talents.”

“It’s incredibly exciting to work with them daily and see them improve. We’ve seen leadership form and grow from so many different players across the course of the season - some that were unexpected from myself. So, there’s an incredible sense of leadership from all different parts of the dressing room."

Brian commented on the Bluebirds' home form across the campaign, and how his side have created a ‘new normal’ at CCS.

BBM:

“We’ve been so good for so long across the course of the season that when you do lose a game at home now it seems as if it’s not normal, and that’s a positive thing for me.”

“ The new normal these players have created is that we win at home, play great football and win games, but you can never take that for granted. We need to try and fight every single step of the way to play well on Saturday and win."

Ian Evatt's Blackpool currently sit 21st in the table, occupying the highest position in the relegation zone.

The Tangerines have amassed 41 points from their 38 Sky Bet League One fixtures and headed into their midweek fixture at home to Port Vale without a win in their last five matches.

That winless run was ended in dramatic fashion. Despite falling behind twice to the side sat at the bottom of the table, the side showed character to record three points in a five-goal thriller.

Strikers Niall Ennis and Ashley Fletcher got them back on terms at two goals apiece before loanee Reuell Walters netted the winner nine minutes from time.

That win was Blackpool's 11th of the season, with eight draws and 19 defeats. The club's away record this season ranks 23rd in the division, with 29.3% of their points tally coming on their travels.

BBM just now. When Lawlor is on bench he is always the first to celebrate team scoring, ie never sulks. Great character to go with the talent, clearly.

I expect nothing but 3 points Blackpool are where they are for a reason a few goals would be nice and a convincing win unless they low block up with two sets of 4 narrow on there box edge then he needs to change it if we just keep playing , backwards , wide and sideways stuff if its not working and we are not winning of course because they will get a chance or two on the break I'm guessing :bluescarf:

I also expect Nothing less than 3pts

And if we draw and some say it’s a point gained, then for me they are clowns and have NO Ambition

Huge congrats to @CardiffCityFC Midfielder @alexrobertson03 on his @Socceroos Call-Up today for the Friendlies against Cameroon & Curacao later this month.

Well-deserved for his consistent levels of performance at Cardiff and this is just a small sample of what he could bring to the Socceroos Squad this month :bluebird: :bluebird:
