BBM : “I think we’re in pretty good form, performance

Wed Mar 18, 2026 6:54 am

I usually agree with BBM:

But last night and what I saw :

CARDIFF CITY POSSESSION 56 % 16 SHOTS / SHOTS ON TARGET 2

WYCOMBE WANDERERS POSSESSION 44%. 16 SHOTS / SHOTS ON TARGET 4

We are not in good form Played 6 W 2 D1 L

BBM :

“I think we’re in pretty good form, performance wise. We want to win all our eight remaining games. Our intention is to try and win every single one.”

“The players’ efforts were incredible.”

“I thought we were in control of the game at all stages, even with ten men. I thought we were the dominant team.”

We've got to stay positive, finish the job off, keep the position game going, its good, Osho got sent off, Kellyman should have been replaced by a CB, simple, change the formation, he was still trying to play down the wings and it wasn't working, let's hope we can bounce back on Saturday.

Why not just admit we had a bad day at the office and be honest.

I don't think we're in good form, only won 2 of our last 6, 3 defeats, and only 2 wins, lost our last 2 home games without scoring. Teams are now letting us have the ball and hit us on the break and if we don't score early we seem to struggle.

Paul,

I’m a big fan of BBM, but when we are doing bad he needs to be honest.

Is the pressure starting to get to him?

The last 6 games I feel it has a bit, remember he’s very new to being a manager

I know it was st Patrick's day yesterday and maybe bbm had been on the sauce ,but the inept performance ranked as one of the worse this season thankfully not to much damage done, but does bbm think we are all listening to a radio commentry?, he should have heard all the fans shouting SHOOT.

The performance from the players was good, it looked to me we like it was just a matter of time before Wycombe folded but the red card and poor refereeing ruined our chances. BBM was too aggressive in the second half. I don't understand the decision not to put a centre half on at all.

Annis, what's the betting this goes down to the last game away to Mansfield ??we have a history of bottling situations but let's hope this year isn't one of them.

Big fan of BBM and we will be promoted.

But I don't agree it was a good performance.

We never really looked like scoring, especially second half.

Strange decision not to bring on a CB after the red card, maybe trying to be too clever.

I think people are being a bit harsh on the boys they worked hard

People realise we were down to 10 men right?

We were still well in the game and were on the front foot until the first goal

BBM messed up by pushing Wintle back in defence but I thought we played the better football even with a man less

The atmosphere was terrible as well which didn't really help and I'm starting to think we are hypocrites as fans

How can we complain about the boys not turning up at home when we show up in small numbers and always so flat

Back in the day when we went down to 10 men we would get behind the team even more, last night it was so quiet for the majority of the game it's embarrassing

It's like we refuse to sing until they score a goal and that's not acceptable

If it was the other way around and the players refused to score until we sing we wouldn't accept it would we

10 men can usually get you to fight more and united more on and off the pitch.
We went down to 10 men at Rotherham and ended up hammering them.

My local team here Atletico Baleares have gone on to win 3 games this season with 10.

I thought the atmosphere once again at CCS was Awful.

But even with 11 players we only had one shot on target on the first half.

Over all last night we were not good and this has happened recently quite often Plymouth, Barnsley, Lincoln and last night.

But We will go up thanks to what we achieved before and the league a very very low level of football.

Last nights result doesn’t matter as long as we win on Saturday

No excuses against a poor Blackpool side but they’ll take confidence in the fact they know they can beat us

Win Saturday and at worst inside the next couple of weeks we’ll be 5/6 clear with a game or 2 in hand

Your team Baleares must have right good togetherness to win games with ten men Annis.

The atmosphere was really bad last night. I was shocked how bad.

It’s really not helpful for our young players.

I NEVER bet against Cardiff, and obviously don't want it to happen.

Ned, we said at the time that BBM should have withdrawn Omari Kellyman and replaced him with Calum Chambers!

I didn’t think our overall play was ‘bad’ but Wycombe, like Lincoln and others, know that parking the bus and waiting for a break is ‘key’ to handling a Bluebird attack that has no physicality

I’m disappointed with the result but I think we’ll be okay way before the season’s end with just the title left yo go for! :ayatollah:

Sven, there lies the worry for me, too many teams lately are hitting us on the break and we are found wanting at the back. We seem to go at it like the "Alamo," great if we score first and early but the longer the game goes on without us scoring the more vulnerable we seem to get. Away from home is not a problem because home teams try to attack us which plays into our hands.

The chat round by us was keep three at the back (Ng and Bagan right and left cb) as we didn’t want to lose forward momentum and as Wycombe were hardly attacking it would work the best. Isn’t that what they did at Rotherham with Osho replacing Wintle in midfield pretty much?
