Set pieces

On the commentary tonight they said we had scored the second least in the league from set pieces.. we also look poor defending them.. having no Salech has definitely hurt us in both respects.
We look devoid of ideas from corners and the delivery has generally been pretty poor.

I feel like this is something that is fixable but I’m surprised we haven’t got better at them.

I think we lack physicality. I was saying to my mates, imagine if that's Ben Turner on the back post and not Kellymen

We don't have a bruiser centre half to attack and defend set pieces.

We will need one in the Championship.

This is the weakest heading city side I have ever seen. Wining a corner is worthless, defending a corner is nail biting.... totally feeble in the air.

The most aggressive player I've ever seen for attacking and defending set pieces was Danny Batth (think that was his name). He scored against us once from a corner where he completely outmuscled Sean Morrison of all people to get to the ball first. I'd love us to unearth someone like him from out of the blue. Good solid defender as well and a leader.

Totally agree, I think Tuesday was one of the worst this season, their keeper took everything in the air, it was like giving a donkey strawberries, Trott on the other hand struggled with many, managing to punch clear poorly a few times!
