Just a thought ,kellyman i thought had his worse game of the season tonight so maybe give Robinson the start and maybe a 45 min show ,if he performs keep him on, if non existent pull him half time.
Any thoughts?

I understand the argument for it but I still say no.
I just say that because I've been disappointed with him when he has started.
But the argument to start him is fair.

It wouldn't hurt.
I've never rated him to lead the line (largely coz he's just a complete pussy without the ball). But he's got good movement and knows where the goal is. Might be worth a try.

NO.
I am also not sure we should be starting Rubin Colwell. He slowed things down and regularly lost possession. I would play his brother and have him as an option. We won most of the games when he was injuredI. (It would be great if Salech was fit enough to make the bench,)

Ned
Robinson legs have gone but we need some sort of main striker in the box,
kellyman runs and dribbles but Robinson is a poacher ,it was just a thought not set in stone,
and if we are promoted Robinson needs to be moved on elsewhere I just thi k without salec in some games he is missed there is no one to head the ball and Robinson is not the answer in the air but we are putting balls in across the ground and this is where Robinson excells, but as I say just a thought.
Tue Mar 17, 2026 10:39 pm
We do need a striker but Robinson isn't the answer unfortunately

I'd start Ashford over all of them. He scored for fun at a U18 level; he was a striker. He may no prolific, but it allows Kellyman to play off someone and Rubin to be the master passer.
Tue Mar 17, 2026 11:20 pm
I would go Ashford too.
Ruben was very poor tonight, but still 1st on that team sheet for me.
Capable of moments of brilliance
Tue Mar 17, 2026 11:33 pm
No no no no no no no no no no no no no.
Tue Mar 17, 2026 11:35 pm
Ashford and Joel Colwill from the start with Robinson on the bench for me!
If selected, Kellyman needs to go further back in midfield and I’d start Willock ahead of Tanner for this one!
My team:
Nathan Trott
Perry Ng
Will Pysgod
Calum Chambers (Captain)
Joel Colwill
Ryan Wintle
Alex Robertson
Omari Kellyman
Joel Colwill
Cian Ashford
Chris Willock
Subs:
Callum Scanlon
Dylan Lawlor
David Turnbull
Rubin Colwill
Ollie Tanner
Callum Robinson
Axel Donczew

You could have Ian Rush up front in his prime and not much is going to happen unless he gets the service
If ......when ....Salech comes back knowing cardiff city we will forget to put balls in the box and try to pass everything to him

I would definitely start him Saturday,at least he will shoot.
Wed Mar 18, 2026 9:11 am
Any U21s we could just throw in there and give a go, Robinson was terrible even with only 10 minutes left, we looked devoid of ideas and we should with a poacher have been 5-0 by half time and missed some sitters.

But he’s completely lost his pace.

Kellyman needs to be behind the striker , and fish needs to play we have no one in the team who can head the ball out of defence , they put two people on our wingers every time and every game its been going on for weeks and we need a plan around it

I've been saying for a few weeks it's Kellyman with Colwill that isn't working, they are more or less trying to do the same job. My guess is he sticks with it Saturday because Blackpool are so poor. Not sure Robinson is a better option as he loves to drop deep too.

Need to try something. Absolutely nothing up top last night. Just hoping the fact there was no investment in January doesn’t come back to bite us on the backside.

We've scored and scored and scored since January. That game hinged completely on the red card

Last two home we haven’t scored a goal. Just think signing a proven goalscorer in January would have helped getting us over the line. Should always strengthen when you’re in a good position in the league and we were.

Yes we should have panic bought a striker for way over the odds, despite scoring the most goals in the league. Then when the books come out in a year we can all criticise that.

So are we pretending replacement meant any striker? Or were people calling for a Salech replacement like 6ft 5 center forwards grow on trees.
