Next Season wherever we might be

Tue Mar 17, 2026 9:53 am

I'm interested to know, just out of curiosity.

BBM has done an amazing job this year and I have enjoyed the football being played. With regards to the regime however, when do you think change will actually happen?

It is hoped for year in year out by many, but with a potential promotion this year, I think it does make the question that much bigger...

IS PROMOTION MORE THAN PROMOTION? DOES IT OFFER THE CHANCE FOR CHANGE AT THE TOP?

Ive done a poll, and am intrigued because I think the answers will vary.....

Sadly, I dont see a change to stubbornness...

In my humble opinion, and I am not in the know, don't track aeroplanes flying in and out of airports, but I think he is hoping that Sala case will go his way, and I think he is hoping for a PL promotion and maybe a shot at parachute payments after that.

Who knows, I try not to think of Mr Tan and just thankful we still exist, we are doing well and have a really good manager that hopefully we can keep hold of for next season...Will there be a spend for life in the Championship? I don't think there will be, and looking at those who could potentially go down from PL it is going to be a tough league to get out of and also stay in. :bluebird:

I've gone for Tan stays no matter where we are

If we stay down he won't get anywhere near his asking price so will he will stay

If we go up i believe Tan will be hoping BBM can get promoted again to the Premier League and will be able to get more money for us potentially

Hope I'm wrong but I can't see him selling in the championship we've been there for most of his reign so you would think he would have sold by now

I’ve voted that he goes whatever. I’m surprised that more haven’t voted the same way.

Andrew, I voted ‘stays no matter what’ because it is too much to hope for that this is his time to sell

It think his ego (and the self-interest of the politician) will want to see if he can have another go at leaving at the top
I sincerely hope that you are right and I am wrong! :ayatollah:

Get what you’re saying , Chris. I voted what I wanted rather that what I think would happen. Perfect scenario would be new owners to take the club forward.

Absolutely, mate. It’s too much to hope for, so I went for the worse option! :ayatollah:

I hope he sells because we will need to improve the squad for the Championship and can't see him spending the money.

Difficult to know what he'll do because he changes his mind so easily.

I voted for Tan goes if we go up.

Tan for me has potentially had the most harmonious seasons in a long time this season.
He kept away from the limelight and let Choo and Memet sort our the club internally.

So I don't mind Tan because his business is elsewhere away from the club at the moment but of course
would say he is watching the matches when he can like he always says which we never know for sure.

So yeah I think keeping our youngsters and developing them further in the championship can only benefit the club and the push
for potential promotion next season. (If we get promoted)

I would like to see both Joel Colwill and Joel Bagan to get new contracts for the long term like the others have recently.
AND of course gaffer BBM who has been instrumental this season for us.

I'm sure we will hear from Tan at the end of this season congratulating BBM and the entire team for there efforts.
No offense but its a weak pole because every fan expect Tan to stick around regardless.

Tan will be here next year. This summer seemed to be our best chance to get shot of him, the only thing I can see changing anything is the outcome of the Sala case
