Having suffered defeat seven days ago and drawn in midweek, the boss praised the mentality and consistency of his squad to bounce back and claim a key victory down in Devon.
BBM:
"We trained brilliantly on Thursday, after a long trip back from Barnsley. All the feelings were right. You can't guarantee that you're going to come here and win - all these games are very difficult, and Exeter has always been a tough game for all the away teams. But today we were really worthy winners.
"We're totally focused on the performances, really, and how the teams wants to improve - probably more so when it can become easy to become distracted by the results of different people. It's a very young squad, so they may not have experienced these situations before.
"We have to try and win on Tuesday. We've already seen how difficult each fixture is in this league, and how easy the game can look at the end when you've put so much hard work into it. We're looking forward to going back home to our stadium, and trying to put on a brilliant performance.
"Hopefully our support will be as large as previous games. It's a tough Tuesday night for our supporters, but hopefully they can come out in numbers and we can try to make the game as exciting as it was today."
