Class

Easily a capable championship player if we go up

Im unconvinced, but ready to be convinced!

Another great game! Fair play

I still don't know if he's enough for the Championship - not saying he isn't, but I simply just don't know.

It's difficult to tell because he's struggled at that level before but he's a different player with this manager, could say the same about a few players.

I agree with that, we will have to see, but one thing I do believe is BBM will give him the best chance and confidence to succeed

It’s going to be tough for a few of them next season, a few of them have found their level and are thriving and it’s great to see but we will definitely need to strengthen next season in the centre of midfield and up front, would include a left back in that

Exciting to see though, I just hope that fans realise that next season will be a different kettle of fish and don’t start getting on their backs when we have the inevitable tough spells

Apologies, iv gone off topic a bit there

I think a lot of our players under murphys style of play will fair better in the championship than the likes of lincoln ,who are more bish bash bosh than our style of play.

Yes BBM has got the best out of him and as long as BBM stays, Wintle will be good enough for the championship.

We had the pleasure of being in the hospitality suite at Exeter today and sat next to us was ex Cardiff and Exeter player John Impey and he was very impressed with Wintle today. Said he was outstanding.

Re: Wintle Lay Off

He'll be fine he's great in this system, if you ask him to play a bit further forward I don't think he's championship level but for what BBM is asking him to do perfect

Re: Wintle Lay Off

Arguably our player of the season and he is the best CDM in league one. He's been the glue for our midfield. We need better in the Championship though. He will play a part next year I am sure but he lacks pace and takes too many touches at times. We need more of a physical presence in the side next year, we will be too light weight with this current squad.

Most of team struggled in championship last season that’s why we are in this division

Riza was picking the team. The relegation was 100% on Tan for refusing to bring in a manager

My ma. Of match today. So underrated by our fans.

Needs a new contract as does NG and Bagan

Totally disagree sorry. Centre of Midfield we have an embarrassment of riches and Wintle, Robertson, Joel Collwill and Turnbull all championship quality. Joel Bagan at left back is the unsung hero of the side but agree he needs proper back up.

I honestly don't think we should spend too much when we go up. Same as this season a few very good signings rather than the recent times when we've been signing journeymen for the sake of it.

That’s cool, happy to agree to disagree on the CM, all the players you have mentioned are decent but 2 of them were there last year in the Championship and we went down in Turnbull and Robertson, don’t think Joel has played higher than League 1 yet and we would need to see Wintle do it consistently

Bagan, again, played over 31 games in a relegated Championship side, doing well this season but potentially because he’s at his level

Completely agree on not signing journeymen though any players signed should add value, non negotiable

Also as a caveat completely understand and agree that BBM could take some of those players and push them on again next season in the Championship

Clearly ignored the bit where I said how they are different players under this manager.

Always good to agree to disagree and discuss in a friendly manner

Interestingly the one player I have the biggest reservations about is Turnbull - I do think he is capable of being a decent championship player, but we've yet to see the best of him, if he clicks he could be the player a lot of folks at Celtic thought he would become.

He's had a few games where he has be excellent this season but like you say lower level.

I actually think Joel Collwill could well go on to play at a higher level than his brother (although Lawlor is the player that will go on to the very highest level)

And I'm a huge fan of Bagan and think he is hugely underrated. (been arguing with my Dad about him all season)

Either way its nice to be looking up for once!

Wintle is the glue that holds it altogether and allows players like Robertson and the colwills to go do there thing, when Wintle doesn't play we lose our anchor and end up all at sea, Wintle is first name on the team sheet for me
