Wrexham ‘do a job’ on Jacks

Fri Mar 13, 2026 10:31 pm

Wrexham consolidated their position in the Championship play off positions tonight with a well-earned win over the Swans

The impressive Nathan Broadhead and an own goal from Swansea’s Liam Cullen gave Wrexham (twinned with Hollywood) all three points

Wrexham are looking good for a play-off place as games tick by, and I wouldn’t bet against them becoming the first club to be promoted consecutively from non-League to the Premier League!

Rivalries aside, that would be one heck of an achievement and I for one, would applaud that achievement, should it occur; particularly given their ‘rocky’ start to this season

They need to hope Southampton aren’t in playoffs.

Personally would love Millwall to have a season in the premier league

Would love to see Millwall in the Premier League for the atmosphere

Agree with both of you and also to see someone else have a crack, unless im mistaken I think there are only 4 teams in the Championship who haven’t been in the Premier League and two of them are the aforementioned alongside Preston and Bristol City

Southampton definitely the ones to watch when it comes to the top 6 race.

Coventry have mostly been very good, as have Middlesbrough. But otherwise it's not a strong league.

Ipswich done well to get where they are after a bad start. But when I've watched the likes of Millwall, Hull and Wrexham they haven't looked like top six teams - not by the standard of previous seasons in the Championship.

Maybe I'm being a bit harsh, but whoever goes up from the play-offs will have a very difficult season in the PL.

Then again, I said the same about Sunderland.

I think they will all struggle it's an extremely weak Championship. Unfortunately for us I think it's going to be very strong next year. If Spurs or West Ham go down they'll basically be automatic to go straight back and Burnley always seem to have no trouble bouncing back

Thought they looked really strong, didn't see Kieffer on the bench though, which was a bit of a concern with Play off game coming up or maybe I just didn't see him? :bluebird:

Our best team doesn’t have Keifer in.
