After seeing this stat earlier it's quite obvious the style of football we are playing is very effective and we are creating enough chances in 90% of games to win comfortably we just need to be a bit more ruthless over the next 10 games

Not as much as Doncaster are.

2 points off the bottom four joint second highest chances created!

The fact that we're the highest scorers in league 1 would suggest otherwise.

Annis this good to see, like comments have stated, we need a striker to finish it off, we are playing some lovely football but we seemed to want to pass it into the goal, we need to shoot more outside the box with a quick striker getting onto a loose ball to finish it off.

The amount we scored compared to the chances we created suggests otherwise

More stats again. How is a big chance defined? I take stats with a pinch of salt. What I witness is what I go on.

We've been at the top of those charts pretty much all season, and that's only a good thing.
We're also top of the big chances missed table (a lot of them from Salech), but I guess that's because we create so many big chances.

I think Salech actually had the most big chances missed in the league before his injury, but this stat shows we create more than anyone else in this league and should mean we win more than we lose over the next 10 games

It's quantitative analysis of when a team should score. A one on one is an example of, or a free header in the box (for example). It's a key metric used by the majority of managers weekly, and when dealing in the transfer market.
It's not rocket science; maybe that's the wrong comparison for this forum, I'll try another.. it's not 'making a pot-noodle'.

I certainly think we play the best football in League one. Good possession and plenty of chances created.
With a quality striker, we would win the league.
(With Salech starting each week, we were comfortably on top)
Without one, we may not convert enough chances to win the league.
There lies the difference!

We've scored 73 goals. This we need a striker stuff is nonsense. Scoring for fun.
If you want stats out xg is 1.72 a game, that's 64 goals we are outperforming that by quite a way, suggesting our finishing is excellent
