Battling Barnsley outplayed top 2 Cardiff for long periods with the bluebirds clinging on desperately in the first half- showing the young reds that we have nothing to fear in this league when we're on our game.

A special mention goes to 20 year old academy product Yoganathan running rings round the visitors and flawless Owen Goodman who has picked up the man of the match trophy multiple times recently, this young keeper has endured a lot of abuse online but continues to prove his haters wrong

Is this the same game that I watched? They didn't touch the ball for the first 20 minutes and whilst they put us under a bit of pressure in the first half after they scored, they resorted to hitting us on the break in the second half with long balls to McGoldrick as we pushed forward. They spent most of the second half with 11 men behind the ball and in injury time their fans were calling for the ref to blow the whistle. To be fair they defended well and once again we failed to have a way of finding a way through. But outplayed us for long parts?

Well I wasn't positive in my assessment of our attacking play, was I?

The 20 minute period to half time they kept us pinned back. They didn’t offer much after that other than break away chances
