TONIGHT FOR ME WAS A MUST WIN, CARDIFF STRUGGLED TO GET A DRAW AT BARNSLEY

AND AT TIMES BARNSLEY LOOKED THE BETTER TEAM

WHERE WAS THIS BOUNCE BACK BBM PROMISED US AFTER THE LINCOLN DEFEAT.

Cardiff keep making mistakes in the defence and don't look solid these last few weeks and upfront lacking a Striker.

Cardiff have only got 4pts from their last 12pts, hopefully this will improve away at Lowly Exeter on Saturday.

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE QUALITY WE SAW A FEW WEEKS AGO

THIS TO ME WAS 2PTS BADLY LOST

THE TEAM DONT SEEM TO HAVE THE BELIEF LIKE THEY DID.

The passing seems to be going No where.

Lincoln Win again tonight away at Exeter.

After Saturday’s Home Defeat and the Defeat at Plymouth BBM and the City team had to get totally back on the Automatic Promotion Run in.

Barnsley have the worst Defense in the league.

BARNSLEY : POSSESSION 28% SHOTS 11 / SHOTS ON TARGET 2

CARDIFF CITY: 78% SHOTS 12 SHOTS ON TARGET 4

FIRST-HALF: Barnsley 7-4 Shots, for the majority of the half Barnsley were all over Cardiff.
I could not wait for the half-time whistle

Just 11mins in Yes Rubin Colwill Scores :bluebird: :bluebird:
Lovely from Tanner down the right hand-side, cuts inside and rolls the ball across the box, and Colwill is there to fire home.

20mins: Colwill made their goalie make a great save :bluebird:

22mins GOAL! Barnsley 1-1 Cardiff City (Banks) No one marking defence all over the place

A 10min spell, all Barnsley including missing an open goal.

Barnsley were by far the better team.

SECOND-HALF: Not that much better from Cardiff.

City not much better.

56mins: Double Subs Bagan replaces Scanlon
Ashford replaces Willock

Cardiff improved.

65mins Barnsley Double Sub.

70mins Cardiff Double Sub Turnbull for Robertson.
Robinson for kellyman

Rubin good shot Saved

Trott Saves, mistakes again by Lawlor

79mins Sub Fish replaced Lawlor

Nothing really between either Sides

BARNSLEY 1 CARDIFF CITY 1

Cardiff City: Trott; Ng, Chambers (c), Lawlor, Scanlon; Wintle, Robertson; R.Cowill, Willock, Tanner; Kellyman

Subs: Fish, Bagan, Kpakio, J.Colwill, Turnbull, Ashford, Robinson

H-T 1-1

We played worse than we did on Saturday, absolutely abysmal & we never looked like scoring a winner. All huff & zero puff.

Let's go back to Kellyman in attack - Joel in midfield and Rubin on the bench.

Ran out of ideas after 20 mins poor poor performance 4 points from 12

Disappointing for sure.

Didn't do the right things around the penalty area, that's what cost us.

Didn't do enough to win and probably wouldn't have scored a second if this carried on until Thursday
Barnsley had no quality.
I've never known a Cardiff team to have ZERO threat from set pieces

Pathetic absolutely pathetic. 95th minutes on the clock we are tapping it around the back rather than get it in the box. I've never seen so much boring football with tippy tappy sideways and backwards shit without actually trying to the ball in the box.

He's got no plan b it's worked for so long but teams got our number for many weeks now when teams do low blocks. We have nothing in the middle as in a forward only striker.

Let's not forget the majority of these players are the chokers that took us down!
Defence in tatters on more than one occasion!
38 year old David McGloldrick bullied the defence on his own!

It's a, 10 game league now
With the better goal difference we are basically 10 points in front
Trouble is no plan b. Come back Salech

Completely agree, it feels like we are compromising the rest of the team by trying to get Rubin in the side. I know he scored tonight but he loses the ball so often and makes the wrong decision time after time. There was a chance in the second half and a simple reverse ball would have played Ng through on goal

We are having a down turn in form. It happens. We still have an away point tonight. We need Salech back. Its increasingly looking like stupidity not signing another striker but we have to back the team now to get them over the line not criticise them.

Not happening to Lincoln.

Maybe the over- reliance on youngsters is catching up with us a little.

Disappointing performance and result but let's not shit the bed here.
15 points from our last 10 games should be enough for automatic promotion. Bolton and Bradford will both drop points along the way.
We've done the hard work to get to this stage it's all about seeing it through now. :bluebird:

As many said, lack of investment will cost us towards the end and most important part of the season. The last 3 out of 4 games has shown this. We have now likely lost the chance to be league 1 champions and will be lucky to hold 2nd place. Mostly the same poor squad from last season. If we did get promoted, what's the plan for investment???? There is no plan under Tan and we'd be straight back down. The same tippy tappy football around the box with no end product.Teams that play us know our shit tactics and just pack the box and hit us on the break. :banghead:

Rubin Just slows the play up. 100% we need to revert back to having Kellyman upfront.
Definitely need a win on Saturday or it's going to start being squeaky bum time
