As you know I also watch Oxford. Oxford are a smaller club in the championship.
When the Oxford fans see posts like this about Oxford by “bigger” clubs it makes the achieving of a result so much sweeter.
I thought we were better than this having been a small club at premier league level.
We have no right to beat any of these clubs.

Wycombe are a good side, within touching distance of the top six. Only lost to Bolton because of three late goals.
I'd be happy with ten points from twelve.
That would put us on 82 points with seven games to go, would be extremely close to promotion because of Bolton's run-in.

Totally agree clubs have raised there games against us all season you only have to look at there results in the game after they play us to see that,
We have no god given right to 3 points in any game, the players have to go out and earn them
On paper yes we should win all 4, unfortunately for us football isn't played on paper
Tue Mar 10, 2026 12:53 pm
Respect every team but do not play with fear ,
i was always taught to overcome fear otherwise it will conquer you,
go out to win think big,
on paper we should win all 4 it's down to murphy to carry that out on the pitch

No easy games now, we would be arrogant to think otherwise, clubs fighting for play offs and survival and a late push. We must bag 3 points tonight though and hope Rotherham turn over Bolton on Saturday

If we bag 3 points tonight then great but all we need to do after that is match or beat boltons results and we’re up. Simple.

It’s not arrogance at all :
If Cardiff want Automatic Promotion and don’t want to end up in the play offs after the 2 Defeats we have had they have to play these 4 teams believing they can beat them.
Let’s be really honest their are some very very poor teams in this league and we are no longer a bunch inexperienced kids, We have the ability and the manager to get the 12pts.

Agree respect, but belief is needed we all know clubs have stepped up to us we are there cup final and last years boys dropping down from the chsmpionship we need to rise above it and that's down to murphy and the team

There are some poor teams but I wouldn't call Wycombe a poor team, they're competing for top six.
The problem with asking for four wins in a row, is it's almost asking for too much. It's difficult to win four in a row in any league, regardless of opposition.
I said I'd be happy with ten points from these four but really, let's hopefully win tonight and take it from there.
We're in a brilliant place to get promoted which is all that really matters.

If we take 9 points from the next 5 games and then another 9 from the final 6 games that will be enough in my opinion
Tue Mar 10, 2026 2:35 pm
I take it one game at a time (old school) if we play as we know we can we will get the 3pts COME ON CITY!!!
Tue Mar 10, 2026 3:22 pm
The unsaid rule for promotion is to win at home, draw away, average two points a game; it will be job done, and we are currently doing just a bit better than that this season. Eight points from these, and we will almost be there.
I think we will get more than that, though, from this batch of four.

100% agree

I'm a tad worried about us and hope there's strong leadership and mentality in that dressing room.
The pressure is mounting but this is professional sport and these guys are paid well to take that pressure on the chin.
It'd be awful if we tail off now. Bolton do have a half tidy goal difference, so they're probably hoping we start conceding some goals and dropping points - it's happened before to us and really hope it doesn't again.
Hope the senior players step up like Chambers, NG and Robbo to help the younger lads.

Id be happy with 10 from the 4 games

I'd be over the moon with 10 from 4, expecting 4 from 4 is setting ourselves up for failure. We bounced back nicely from the Plymouth defeat let's hope the same happens tonight.

I'm with that. 8 or more great 7 minimum

Four-in-a-row is possible but unlikely, so we need to have a little patience as the season’s end nears
We are a young team, we are still learning, so we will make mistakes. But overall, we are ‘
excelkent work in progress’ and we need fear no team in this League!

More twist and turns to come for most clubs in the last 10 games .

Very true. If we can get more shots off though after those twists and turns it would be appreciated

Well if we continue like we played against Plymouth, Lincoln and Barnsley we will be lucky to win 2 of them.
Thats 4pts from our previous 12pts
Wed Mar 11, 2026 1:15 pm
Saturday won't be easy Exeter pushed Lincoln all the way last night even Lincoln fans were saying they were lucky to win so we will need to go up a few gears and fix our defence
