We were probably 99% nailed on for the play offs that time we missed out on goal difference because Preston battered us 6-0

That's mad we only have a 23% chance of the title considering we're only 2 points behind, just shows what a run Lincoln are on

I fancy lumping a few quid on us for the title tbh.

Re: 94% chance of automatic promotion

94% chance of auto promo. I feel a bit uneasy seeing that after Saturdays enept performance. I went to the game confident and relaxed but I came away from it realising things can change so quickly.

Tomorrows game is massive. Win it and I'll go with those odds. Lose...and then the pressure builds.

This team has coped admirably with being the 'big team' in this league, they always bounce back and have taken everything in their stride. But nearing the home straight, that pressure can build...and it's a different pressure to anything they've witnessed so far.

We haven't got a Bellamy or Hudson, a Morrison or a Bamba in the dressing room and that's been a concern of mine since the start of the season.

Hopefully our obvious quality and work ethic will be enough, and the decisions BBM has made in both windows will see us through.

Most of the bookies agree with that sentiment on automatic promotion but not for title. More like 40%. Good bet with Sky Bet is 12-1 Bolton for automatic as they are the only team i think who can catch us as they have to play us and losing to them is the only way I can see us blowing it. Don't want it to happen, but £25 at that price pays for your season ticket next year as a consolation if the worst happens.

That's actually a decent bet might have a few sheckles on it myself, pay next year's season ticket and enough beer to numb the pain of us messing this up lol

I think it should be 33/1 and if we win tomorrow those odds will lengthen. Have you seen Boltons run in? I know we lost to them but they didn't look that good. I can't see them beating us at home. Why do so many fans think the wheels are going to fall off? I don't think there is any chance of it happening. We will probably equal or better the chasing packs points total with the teams we got to play.

Quite a change in bookies odds after Saturdays game! Tomorrow will be tough - Barnsley at home wont be easy- but believe we will come away with the 3 points. Think we will edge it 2-1. If we dont win I just hope we dont go into an ‘Arsenal Wobble’ with doubt creeping in. Our position is strong - still plenty to play for and over the coming weeks there will be some twist and turn results for all top 6 teams.BBM will get the formation right tomorrow with players playing in their correct positions and back to winning ways. Exeter away for Lincoln i can see a draw. Hopefully so!

A form of PTSD would explain the why?

Re: 94% chance of automatic promotion

I’ve just opened an account with Sky bet and placed the bet. All seems fine as it clearly states Bolton for top 2 finish at 11/1 etc but it also says ‘10th March at 1945’.
Any betting experts know why this may be?

That's just because they suspend the market when games that impact it are ongoing, as they will at 7.45pm tomorrow.

Thanks mate. I’m thinking that I put the £25 at 11/1 and will get £300 if it returns? Soz if I’m being a bit thick as I’m not used to betting.
Ps. I don’t want odds to change - just a straight £25 @ 11/1.

Correct, would return 300 including your stake :thumbright:

I would normally say good luck but can't this time obviously

I've placed the same bet and it will definitely be 25 quid I am more than happy to lose but if the worse does happen next season is paid for and a few hours black out to numb the pain lol

One more thing, it states ‘potential payout £300’??

Too right with R Colwill, Lawlor and Salech back, we'll be full strength so far for the run-in, and will have learned and be ready to adapt following the losses to Lincoln and Plymouth.

Odds are odds, we are going up automatically, it's just as Champions or runners up at this stage.

You'll lose £25, because Cardiff and Lincoln are already there, bar a few more wins.

Exactly, very tough run-in for Bolton

99.9 of automatic promotion Bolton need a ridiculously good run in and us to collapse, neither are likely.

The title we are still well in the fight. Lincoln are due a blip themselves nobody is bulletproof. If they continue hats off to them
