ALLEGATIONS OF RACISM FROM CARDIFF FANS / 100% NOT TRUE

I was in The Ninian Stand and the player Concerned was continually winding up Cardiff Fans

I could see everyone in front of me.

One fan who is accused all he did was the Ayatollah and the player responded himself doing Monkey actions to the Cardiff fans, then he himself kept pointing to his arm and I believe he is the one who should be arrested.
He never stopped and was doing the crying his eyes to Cardiff fans after Lincoln Scored.

I hope they have full Tv / CCTV Coverage.

He continued on different occasions to try and wind Cardiff fans wound up / Charge him.

I actually was sat in the small middle tier red seats area, other than the seats being red the view and the concourse area is really nice, hopefully it's turned blue in the future.

There was a guy in that area who spoke to a steward and then loads of other higher up stewards approached him and he was pointing someone out in the Ninian below. The guy was black and had a young son with him and was well dressed and had diamond earrings etc... anyway he was upset about something and reporting it.

If there was racist abuse I don't get it as we've always had, have and some of our best have been black like Earnie and Gabbs etc..a massive percentage of players these days are black.

we have never had racism at our club..and if there was it should be dealt with a ban and a charge

I just read the Sala thread, where we misinterpreted the dambuster thing they do; it looks the same as something we do that is unique to us, which could easily be misconstrued as Monkey gestures if it's the first time you've seen it. Hope both clubs and the player put out a statement if this is the case.

WhenI walking out I unfortunately heard some let’s say mild racism about the player of concern. Wheter any at the time I couldn’t say for definite and only the people there could for definite, but there was racial slurs from som of our own yesterday.

There are cameras all over the stadium so if any racist remarks or gestures were made then the club will rightly take action.
If there were no racist remarks or gestures made and the player has made it up then he should also face a massive fine/ban.
Hopefully it was just a misunderstanding of the ayatollah that has previously been mentioned

I’ve got a season ticket in 117 Ninian and saw a lad I didn’t recognise making monkey gestures. When we called him out on it he tried to apologise for it but we reported him to the stewards. When I next looked his way he’d gone. Not sure if he left himself or was removed.

People happy to give it to players but can’t take it when they give it back. Embarrassing from grown men who can’t take losing.

We have had incidents of racism at Cardiff City going back many years

Its suggested its not as regular as at some clubs and thats probably true

To deny we have some racist fans is something some of our supporters have always done

Thankfully these things do not happen too often but these idiots need to be arrested if caught and banned

Yes, 100% that happened, as did an unknown individual in the same block shout the ‘M’ word towards the player!

Doesn’t matter what the provocation, it’s simply not an action usually associated with Cardiff City FC!

Plus I spoke to the Steward on the day and he spoke to the fan and he did nothing wrong and never disappeared

Well I saw it first hand. It happened. Possible theres other people being accused who didn’t do anything wrong. But at least one person definitely tried to racially abuse him, whether the player saw it or not who knows.

They were decent fans , if they were doing it to wind up our lot decent lincoln fans would have been apologising for it

If you read the statement, the club clearly say that initial reports said it was a misunderstanding but an investigation has found that isn't the case.

So it changes nothing to what has been said on this thread. People can only say what they've personally seen/heard and clearly this awful incident happened in a different location of 116.

I just hope the culprit is identified and banned.
