A few teams in the East of England chant that theme, and have been doing it for years. Peterborough is another team that does it. Just think it's some thing to do with the war / airdromes over there?

The RAF has great cultural significance for Lincoln and their fans.Imps fans will sing (actually hum!) the Dambusters theme when the team scores, with arms outstretched. This dates back at least to the 1990s. At home games an air raid siren sounds at free kicks and corners, and every now and again a Lancaster bomber will fly over the game. Whatever is happening on the pitch is ignored and the home crowd erupts as if they had won the Champions League. No disrespect intended to anyone.

It's to do with the RAF. They have airbases in Lincolnshire. Nothing dodgy

They do it because the 617 squadron aka Dambusters were based up there during WW2

I think we should focus on the removal of our own idiots such as those responsible for some sort of racist slur at the Linciln player when they scored their first goal.
