“It should be a great day,” began Brian. “Hopefully it will be a reward for the supporters who travel so far and have spent so much money on supporting us throughout the course of the season. Saturday will be a great day to return home and hopefully we’ll give them a good day.

“All eyes are on Saturday naturally against an opponent of the calibre that we’re facing. It’s going to be a great game and a great day for everyone.

“It’s going to be as tough as it gets because of how good the opponents are. We faced them earlier in the season and got an insight into how good they are and how difficult the game is likely to be.

"They have brilliant players all over the pitch and are a highly technical team, so we are fully aware of their strengths and have the highest regard for what they’ve done and what they do, but we’re pretty good ourselves and our form at home has been good.

"It’s one to look forward to, and one that we’ll do our best to try and win.”

Brian discussed the attitude of the squad in the build-up, as well as his experiences from speaking with members of the City faithful in recent weeks.

“The players have to compete against each other every single day," he explained. "If they don’t then they won’t play, which is what they want.

“Improvement is our focus all of the time, and it keeps things very straight forward.

“Every game the support her has been incredible. Like I’ve said our fans have travelled wide and far and spent a fortune on supporting us this season, so we’ve felt their support every step of the way.

“I recently attended fans forums at Aberdare and Treorchy and you get the sense of how excited the supporters are, and that’s what you want.”

RUBIN COLWILL:

"You can feel the energy and the vibes around the place. The crowd away the other day when we won was crazy. They took over the stadium really.

"Back here on Saturday now is going to be really special."

RUBIN COLWILL:

This weekend sees first play second in Sky Bet League One. While City ambitions have been clear from the start of the campaign, Rubin insists nobody is getting ahead of themselves.

"I think obviously our focus from the start of the year was to try and get promoted and win the league," Colwill stated. "I don't think that has changed for the whole season. That's our focus.

"But, it's important to remember how we got to where we are. The work everyday is what is important.

"If we start thinking too far ahead, you can get caught up in things. We're trying to keep focussed on what got us to where we are."

Rubin Colwill talks to the press ahead of Lincoln City.
There is expected to be a bumper crowd at CCS on Saturday afternoon supporting the Bluebirds.

Rubin added: "You can feel the energy and the vibes around the place.

"The crowd away the other day when we won was crazy. They took over the stadium really.

"Back here on Saturday now is going to be really special."

Finally we know why Kellyman did not play last week.

Rather concerning!
We knew that Salech would be out for this match and beyond.
However, the thought of possibly being without Lawlor in defence and Kellyman up front is worrying.
Also, it is now confirmed that Isaak has got a hamstring strain after all.
Hopefully we won't be without all these players for what could eventually prove to be a title decider!

No doubt at all that he is being as sarcastic as possible without getting himself in trouble.

He was definitely being sarcastic, watched it earlier and you tell by the look on his face as he said it.
