Kellyman

Seems very odd to me that no journalist has asked why Kellyman was not playing or a sub. Was he dropped or injured?

If he was dropped I doubt he would have travelled with the squad but you never know.

I'm more interested to know why nobody has asked him about not having a keeper amongst the subs because that is going to come back to bite us one day soon, we've been lucky so far.

I would say rotated we now have to many players to fit them all into the match day squad so everyone takes there turn to miss out I'm certain he will be back in the squad saturday

He was with the squad there and considering he scored two the week before really strange he wasn't even on bench. Even stranger is that - as you point out- no one has asked the question.

More importantly. Will.he be back for Saturday?

Away post match interviews with the manager are just with BBC and they tend to just talk about the match.

I'm sure the question will be asked in Thursday's press conference.

Perry Ng is the on-field ‘back up’ goalkeeper and he’s no slouch!

An ‘issue’ would arise in event if him being ‘subbed’ before he is needed, as the Rules state ‘once a players has been substituted, he can no longer play a part in the game

I know that he is but it still makes me wonder why we don't have a back up on the bench when you're allowed so many now.

We will be allowed nine players on the bench next season in the Championship, but it's only seven in L1.

I guess he's playing the odds this season to get as many outfield players on the bench as possible.

But would expect a GK on the bench every game next season, as he can still have eight outfield players there.

with regards kellyman didnt bbm have a small dig after plymouyh saying he needed to be aware of his defensive duties, perhaps he was dropped to drive home the point.

I would expect one to be on the bench Saturday, not saying they are a dirty team, but they are a very physical team.
I would not be surprised if in the future a manager would ensure that Trott felt if during a corner. If this became the norm with our Manager
NG was subbed last week. I know it was late, but it was still risky

Someone did ask a few weeks back. His answer was that he feels the need to add specific options and feels its worth the gamble.

Ah thanks, I must have missed that.
