To throw in the towel and say let's cut my losses? Because let's be honest he hasn't a clue on running a professional football club, all over the place, makes it up as he goes along, after a revolving door of managers he's finally got lucky! If he had any sence, this summer he would find the best buyer he can, cut his losses and head for the hills, without damaging the club further with his hopeless running of it.

He's from the Orient, he will roll the dice next season. He won't ever cash in his chips sadly for us.

If thats a question then the answer is - nobody knows.
Posters here can only guess.
My guess is that it's not going to be anytime soon and certainly not next season.

Tan has done great this season
keeping out of the spotlight
and not making silly headlines which he made seasons before
he kept his mouth quiet while the team cruises in League 1 winning games.
so can't fault him this season really.
Next season I would like about 3 new players but only as backup to the players we already have. to strengthen the team in terms of the depth. Then I think we will do great next season. Especially if 8 teams have the chance to get promoted. And it feels like Cardiff are always around the 8th position so could work well for us.

We have some momentum and a good feeling around the club for the first time in ages…..it’s not easy to get and we have a young talented team that can still grow. Who knows how far it can go? The less we hear from VT the better things seem to be

I truly think there is a good chance that he will try and finish on a high and sell in the Summer IF he gets a fair, realistic decent offer; if it's speculators trying to buy the club on the cheap again, then no chance.
The timing looks right to me, a prospective decent buyer could try to tie BBM into a long-term contract and offer financial backing for him to take the club forward. We now really need a solid, long-term, quality potential bidder.

All this talk about him selling in the summer wouldn't really help us next season, hope people realise this.
When there was talk of a takeover last summer, I pointed out that Gary Neville had said on a podcast that a change to the ownership he'd just done at Salford took about 8-10 weeks to be fully approved by the EFL. And all they really had was a re-structuring of the ownership. He said he EFL tests take a lot longer than they used to because they're much more rigourous.
So for argument's sake, if we're sold at the start of June then it would be unlikely to be fully completed by the time the transfer window closed.

Ned, the best thing for all concerned (Tan, any potential new investor(s) and the supporters) would be to have an announcement’out if the blue’ once everything was completed
Sadly, the footballing world doesn’t work like that, and the rumour mill will commence as soon as the last ball is kicked this season

I always think the same about football dealings in general Chris.
Used to love the suprise players we'd bring in but journalists know so much that nothing is a suprise anymore.

The club needs to be back in the Championship to start off with

Tan has said hes giving all his money to charity when he dies ,so im not sure this is about money he wants to save face ,so I guess he will sell when or if we get back to the premiership.

Who knows. To start with will a serious buyer come along when we are back in the championship? What does Tan actually want for the club? Does the Sala case effect his thoughts on selling? Only one man knows. I doubt it will be next season he'll probably hope BBM is good enough to blitz the league on a shoestring

The simple answer is when it suits him; and at that point even the politician’s grubby money-clawing hands won’t stop him!
It’s just a matter of time but there’s a saying that includes the words ‘
piece of string’

the welsh fa talking an expation to 45k on the stadium could be very attractive to the right buyer.
