FOUR CHANGES TODAY :
Kellyman did travel today:
It's a first start for Rubin Colwill since that injury away to Northampton back in November.
That looks to be a forced change, potentially, with Omari Kellyman, who had been filling that false 9 role so well, out of contention today.
Kellyman scored twice against Plymouth Argyle last weekend in the 5-2 and had appeared to be growing into the role.
The centre-back partnership today is Gabriel Osho and Dylan Lawlor, with the latter coming back into the starting lineup for the first time since January 4.
Ryan Wintle comes in to add some steel to the midfield, while Cian Ashford is preferred to Chris Willock on the left.
NO goalkeeper, again, on the bench today.

I bet Robinson can't wait to get out the building after this season although he's getting good coin still but I'm sure he must be thinking why is he on the bench and we don't have a recognised striker. What happened to kellyman or maybe I've missed something playing six midfielders as that's what they are and play most weeks before somebody says so and so played there once. False nine but let's see how many shots we get today

Being without Kellyman is a bit of a worry and no GK on the bench again.
But hopefully Rubin can do the false nine role just as well.
Strong bench.

Robinson is 100% leaving in the summer.
Must be so frustrating for him, BBM clearly isn’t a fan of him.

No Kellyman is a big miss for us today
However, this is a good side that should more than compete with Doncaster Rovers today

Osho and lawler back in rubin starts either kellyman is injured or as bbn has said this week he needs to do his defensive duties, who knows ?
Sat Feb 28, 2026 1:52 pm
I'm a huge fan of rubin but from what I've seen of him since he's come back from injury I wouldn't be starting him in this game

Four changes for the #Bluebirds: Lawlor, Wintle, Ashford and Rubin come into the starting XI.

Got to trust BBM but Fish should start away games. As for no striker starting we’ll see how Ruben goes.
Never agree with no keeper on bench.
2-2.

Rubin has not looked match fit yet in his substitute appearances. Robinson must be gutted trust BBMs judgement on it though

It's strange in my opinion we don't see lawlor for 5 to 6 weeks then suddenly hes starting today , the same with fish last week he wasn't in the squad and nowhere to be seen now on the bench today. Let's hope this midfield packing works we should have enough along as we are not doing 1000 passes backwards and sideways and not getting shots off on there goalkeeper but we shall see because they will be direct like they was at the CCS . Tinkerman might be right

Robinson has done nothing to justify him starting.
Not surprised he's not getting starts.
Sat Feb 28, 2026 1:58 pm
Surely Kellyman must be carrying an injury.
You don't score two goals and get dropped from the squad that easily.
As I thought, BBM must think very highly of Rubin after his outings early season, as he has opted to re-introduce him back into the team very quickly after the long lay off.
Let's hope he can start performing at the level he was early season.
We cannot afford to lose this match if we have desires to win the title.
Also, as previously mentioned, Robinson is certainly on his way out in the summer!

Kellyman I notice had been taken off the betting few hrs ago. So wonder what bookies knew that something was up before line ups

Worried by that selection. Kellyman must have an illness or slight knock. Rubin Colwill is not a 9. Really hope hes not playing there. The decision nor to sign another forward could bite us today.

My thoughts exactly, about the failure to bring in cover for the central striker roll.
BBM obviously doesn't rate Robinson up front or he would have been using him.
Therefore, when we learned that Salech would be out for a while, surely there was someone we could have brought in on loan for the rest of this season to play, or use on the bench in that position!

I'd like to have seen Willock in at CF, he does have an eye for goal.
Sat Feb 28, 2026 2:39 pm
We've operated fine with a false 9. No issues with that for me, but this constant no goalkeeper, just by laws of averages, will catch us out at some point.
Sat Feb 28, 2026 2:41 pm
Not sure about this line up but in BBM we trust. No keeper again as SB said will eventually catch up with us, hopefully a reporter asks him about it 1 day.

Kellyman has travelled today so must be illness or a injury tweak.

Interesting Kellyman was on the bus footage
Sat Feb 28, 2026 4:04 pm
Not a big fan of Osho, always think he's a liability. But that's my personal view.

Strong bench.
Shows what I know, was worried that we were without Kellyman but we ended up scoring four.
Rubin did really well in the build up to Ashford's goal.
