Its fantastic support, its difficult because its not just this game, we have FOUR aways in a row really with only Lincoln in between...PLYMOUTH, DONCASTER, BARNSLEY and EXETER so selling out three of them is amazing to be fair, all fans who then make the Barnsley match are greatly appreciated regardless of how many make that long midweek trip.

No mate, you need to be a season ticket holder or member, it’s one of the reasons our away support has dwindled over the years until this season as it stopped the casual fans from just deciding to go on the spur of the moment unless the Team we were playing were happy for pay on the day. Obviously this season has been different with grounds we havnt been to in years and the team doing well

It's the right way to sell tickets.
Of course those with season tickets and club memberships get the right to buy away tickets in advance. Then if there's any left on matchday then the vast majority of stadiums will allow them to be sold on the day to those who don't have season tickets or club memberships.
There are things the club can fairly be criticised for, but this isn't one of them.

I didn’t say it wasn’t the right way to sell tickets (when the demand is there, as it has been this season). On the criticism part we will have to agree to disagree as my comments are based on fact. On many occasions in the Championship years we wouldn’t know if the away Team would do pay on the day until the last minute, to say most stadiums will allow them to be sold on the day isn’t true, including Saturday. In the Championship it put casual fans off hence our followings dropped off. To help with that, the Club, when they knew there would be plenty of tickets could have just put them on general sale to anyone and everyone
Not sure if you remember but the only reason the Club put the restriction on to members and season ticket holders was during the troubles of the late 90s early 2000s so they knew who was buying the tickets but those days are long gone
