£300k per week.

Wed Feb 25, 2026 12:46 pm

That is what I'm reading that Tan is putting into the club to keep us afloat.

That's over £1m a month and that is what he was doing over a decade ago when we had all those expensive players.

Now we have players on the cheap yet its still costing us the same. Something tells me we are being told porky pies.

The club have to release accounts so they can't hide behind this. Our income will be much lower these days with much less sponsorship etc

Some guy makes a claim on a message board & now it's fact? I would say you couldn't make it up but obviously you can & people will believe it.

100% Correct:

Don’t forget the interest £3.8Million to Dalman

Their Wages / Expenses etc

That’s where the money is going.

Ian,

This £300,000 is what was put out by Dalman and Co 2 yrs ago

Re: £300k per week.

All he’s paying for is his own mismanagement…..this is why he should sell up. He doesn’t have what it takes to run a club properly. Got lucky with BBM and bigger crowds than last year, half the squad gone too and the rest took cuts. Still paying out for past ? So even if we do go up, won’t it just be more of the same?

Spot on i don't get why people keep bringing up that tan has to keep putting money in every month as if that means he's our saviour or something

Tan brought this on himself

He has spent money on us no question but he has spent poorly and only has himself to blame

Because he took over a club losing money and who had given away a lot of money that was coming into the club for the next few seasons.

He has also wasted a lot of money on really bad players. He has wasted money on a lot of other stupid ideas as well.

I find this hard to believe, as he was reportedly (as seemingly supported by the accounts) putting that much in when wages and other outgoings were surely much higher than they are now? :?

The expensive squad was drastically reduced last summer, the wages of those who remained after relegation, were in most (if not all) cases halved, and other reductions taken across the club

Of course, ‘they’ would like us to ‘believe’ that’s what they are putting in, but it simply doesn’t add up to basic scrutiny! :ayatollah:

Someone wrote it on a message board.

There have been some crazy numbers oft quoted on this board about the amount of debt that haven’t survived any scrutiny.

It’s the internet people can say what they like with little or no fact checking.

When we see the accounts we will find out then.

Why would someone else want to cover the previous owners ineptitude? If your next door neighbour blew 100k gambling would you go give him the money if you were buying his house? He got the club on the cheap and has consistently been unable to hire anyone to run it properly. 20,000 crowds in level 3…..yeah rightio we believe you vinnie

Well Tan had to cover ineptitude of previous owners’

Literally had to pay Sam his debt and pay off significant Riddler’s over spending.

It’s mad how some of these posts actually end up defending Tan indirectly.
