Bluebirds, I’m asking for your support today

I’ve been asked by my family to share this, and I wouldn’t do so unless it truly mattered.

Our family’s world has been turned upside down after my brave 14-year-old nephew, Dylan, was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumour. He’s a kind, funny, and incredibly strong young lad who should be worrying about school, football, and being with his friends — not facing something so frightening.

While his treatment in London, including proton beam therapy, and further intensive chemotherapy in Cardiff is covered, the reality is the hidden costs are overwhelming. Travel back and forth, accommodation, time away from work, and the many unexpected expenses that come with months of hospital care place huge pressure on the family.

All we want is for Dylan’s parents to be able to stay by his side every step of the way without the added stress of financial strain, so they can focus entirely on helping him stay strong and get through this fight.
