Predicted Final table

Thu Feb 19, 2026 1:00 pm

This site has us finishing top on 94 points:

They also think we'll win all of our remaining 6 home games but only win one away, with 4 draws and 3 losses.

Pewrsonally think we'll win 4 and draw 2 of our homes and win 4 draw 2 and lose 2 away. 97 points

I believe we will hit 100 points or more now, the players are improving game by game, we are out of the cups, and there will be fewer Welsh duty interruptions.

Not sure how these predictions are calculated, but they can't predict a string of injuries or loss of form etc.
I notice they have Plymouth drop down a few places, after their recent form would suggest the opersite.
I think we can take this with a pinch of salt, but it certainly looks between Cardiff and Lincoln for the title, so the up and coming match against Lincoln will be massive.

Because of our goal difference, I honestly think six wins gets us over the line. I don't see any of the chasing pack from third downwards going on a run either.

Never want to be overconfident but we have to believe we're nearly there.

Our current points per game would put us on 99... Think that's a tall order. Also will BBM have a look at more U21's Tank, the two boys we signed, etc, as it looks like promotion will be done with a few games to go

If we win 6 out of the last 14 it means Stockport Bradford and Bolton all have to win minimum of 10 but probably 11 due to our goal difference

That would also mean our form would have to drop off a cliff to only win 6

Its looking so good but we're cardiff we never do things easy so I'm still shitting it

Agree six will be enough. We wont lose the other 8 so just three draws from them and we have 90 points. Cant see anyone apart from Lincoln getting that. Bookies have us 20-1 on to go up. 2000-1 on to make top six. Remarkably short odds half way through February. So barring a horrendous collapse in form we are nearly there.

Just had a look back at the last 10 seasons to see how many points were needed for promotion

2024/25 - 88
2023/24 - 88
2022/23 - 97
2021/22 - 90
2020/21 - 81
2019/20 - covid season ended early
2018/19 - 89
2017/18 - 88
2916/17 - 83
2915/16 - 90

Lol. It is a prediction mate, it’s not stated fact that it will happen.

We're at a 67% win rate over the season, also. We just have to maintain (not improve) and we're up. Last 5 games we're 80% win rate; so have improved on the season average.

Get the champagne on ice, gents. :occasion5:

Personally think we'll win 4 and draw 2 of our homes and win 4 draw 2 and lose 2 away. 97 points

I am with you on your analyses and don't understand how the table was put together. Its bizarre the way the points are split. 18 from 18 at home but only 7 from 21 away.

Thanks for clarifying this; I thought this is how the season will actually end....derrr!
A complete hypothetical waste of time.

Your the one that said take it with a pinch of salt, because it hasn’t included any unforeseen injuries which can happen to any club. come it’s complete speculation and a bit of fun no need to worry take it so seriously.
