Kellyman wins fouls

Tue Feb 17, 2026 10:27 pm

We know that Salech has been blatantly fouled many times this season but not had the decisions go his way.

The thing with Kellyman as a false nine is he does win fouls.

In the last three games, he's won ten free kicks - including three tonight.

It's a great asset to have.

The fact Kellyman isn't as physically imposing as Salech means fouls that Salech wouldnt get Kellyman does, also his close control is on another level he's such a slick footballer I hope we can get him back for next season if we go up

We should definitely ask Chelsea if we can have him for another season if we go up.

He started slow, but his quality is clear to see now.

Seems to be really enjoying being at the club too.

He’s just totally gifted , what a player , a special player who looks like he was born with a ball glued to his foot . Love this kid :bluebird:

It’s how I see it as well. I often feel ‘sorry’ for Salech getting battered with little or no protection.

‘Slick’ is a good way to describe Kellyman. He glides and has very quick feet.

I’d love to think we’d keep him next season but even though he wouldn’t get into the Chelsea side I think we’d have little chance.

Salech is too honest, will only actually go down/complain if he is physically forced to.

Some may disagree but first thing he should be doing when he feels his shirt being pulled or arms being used against him is throw himself on the ground, it’s the only way referees award fouls.

The refs don’t give him though , he’s done it a few times and they wave play on , where as kellyman has quicker feet so he’s getting kicked and it looks more blatant

We had this problem with Keifer too. Not nearly as bad as with Salech. Refs just presume if your a big fucker you can't be fouled

Exactly , refs just assume they’re diving , but they’re getting grabbed all over the shop , I think cos kellymem is from the top elite , he knows how to get a free kick from his skill and feet, so when he does get fouled it looks alot worse
