TONIGHT: THE GOALS KEEP COMING AND CARDIFF CITY YET AGAIN COMFORTABLE WIN THEIR HOME GAME / THIS TIME V WIMBLEDON

An excellent second- half performance by City :bluebird:

Cardiff now undefeated in 12 games :bluebird:

Wimbledon really gave Cardiff a game and never rested / battling for 90mins.

" CCFC FAMILY STAND " ITS HALF-TERM
AND IT WAS VIRTUALLY EMPTY ???

:bluebird: " CARDIFF CITY TOP OF THE LEAGUE " :bluebird:

POSSESSION % SHOTS / SHOTS ON TARGET

CARDIFF C 61 16 / 7

WIMBLEDON 39 14 / 5

FIRST-HALF:Not much between both clubs.

Cardiff 9 Shots Wimbledon 9 Shots

On Target 3 - 4

Wimbledon looked in control for 20mins.

22mins GOAL! Cardiff City 1-0 AFC Wimbledon :bluebird:
GOOOOAL! Lovely strike from Joel Colwill!
Alex Robertson fizzes a low corner to near the penalty spot. It's clearly a corner routine because Joel Colwill had just peeled off his man and is unmarked. It's coming at him with some pace but he smashes it first time and Nathan Bishop is helpless at his near post. :bluebird:

26min City goal offside

Joel Colwill was everywhere :bluebird:

46mins GOAL! Cardiff City 1-1 AFC Wimbledon (Stevens 45+1)
Goal! Steve Seddon whips in a free-kick and Matty Steves reacts quickest, with no one marking him. It's a lovely finish, opening up his foot and slotting into the bottom corner on the volley.

SECOND-HALF:

55mins The Game just needed a bit of zip. Feels like Wimbledon have just got the measure of Cardiff at the moment.

58mins GOAL! Cardiff City 2-1 AFC Wimbledon (Ng 58) :bluebird: :bluebird:
GOOOOOOOOAL! Ng heads home!
Ollie Tanner with ANOTHER assist this season, this time from the corner. Perry Ng meets it at the front post and buries the header!

61min GOAL! Cardiff City 3-1 AFC Wimbledon (Tanner 61) :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird:
Perry Ng picks the ball up on the right and squares it to Ollie Tanner on the edge of the box.
The winger lets the ball run across him before controlling it with his right and smashing it low with his left. Bishop cannot get to it as it nestles into the bottom corner.

66mins: Triple sub...
Alex Robertson off, David Turnbull on.
Joel Colwill off, Rubin Colwill on.
Chris Willock off, Cian Ashford on.

73rd min Ollie Tanner off, Callum Robinson on.

82min Rubin Colwill produces a booming header at the near post to clear a corner.

87min GOAL! Cardiff City 4-1 AFC Wimbledon :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird:
GOOOOAL! Omari Kellyman slots home!
Callum Robinson drags a defender out wide before playing a cute reverse pass to Kellyman, who drives in from out on the wing.
He takes his chance as cool as you'd like, sweeping it into the bottom corner with his left foot.

Scanlon made his debut 90mins

I keep reading people slating tanner and I wonder if I'm watching a different game, yes he's not perfect but he's the only direct winger we have an causes havoc against full backs

First half we just didn't look assed and cruised in 1st gear which cost us as we switched off for the equaliser

Second half we just went up an extra 2 gears and steam rolled them

I honestly believe that we still have another 2 or 3 gears to go up if we need to and we really look like we can just destroy teams if we feel like it

Saturday is a big test plymouth are hitting a bit of form I'd quite happily settle for a point down there but believe if we want it enough we can beat anyone in this league
