Referee rating - marks out of ten

Sat Feb 14, 2026 5:34 pm

I thought he was ok.

Got the penalty decision right. It's a foul but because of the double jeopardy rule it's just a yellow card.

Made some strange decisions though, let some fouls go but then penalised softer challenges. Trott's yellow was very harsh too, given he'd only just blown the whistle.

But we've had far worse.

6.

I gave him a 1 because there's no zero. I thought he started out okay & just went downhill as the game wore on. Gave Trott a yellow card that was ridiculous for time wasting when he only just blew the whistle to restart, he didn't give Bagan (or Ng) a yellow when he should have & missed I don't know how many assaults on our players. Their keeper should have been gone for that petulant kick out early in the first half & not only did he not get a card of any colour he was allowed to just walk away as if nothing had happened.

All around a useless excuse of a referee. So about the usual standard for this league.

Very poor again got the penalty right. We should have had one for handball off Tanners shot. Ng got a talking to for one of the most obvious professional fouls you'll ever see. Just poor all round

Yes NG should definitely have been booked.

Didn't think he was too bad. Got the pen decision right for the one he did give and got the Ng one right as the rule dictates that if you play advantage for an attacking situation then you can't go back and book the player. Thats the reason he gave him a good talking to.

4/10 just for consistency or lack of it.

Yes NG should definitely have been booked.

Ng's foul didn't stop the attack so therefore wasn't a professional foul.

It’s a 5 from me.
Pretty average, made some strange decisions but also didn’t really affect the game.
Got the penalty correct, although it was the Linesman who gave it.
