Have we ever had such strength in depth at any level?

This season it doesn’t seem to matter who’s injured or suspended, others always step up.

Think a lot of credit goes to BBM for creating that competition for places and making sure everyone knows what role they have to do in the way the team plays.

When OGS used to change the team so much from game to game we’d always struggle. BBM does it seamlessly and the team play so well in the same way every time.

Not sure we’d have coped without our top scorer, most creative player and now without our defensive midfielder in the past

I totally agree. We don't have a huge squad but we have enough players in every position, and crucially they are all good enough to come into the team.

Some were worried we'd collapse when Rubin got injured but that was never going to happen because we had enough quality to cover that. Same with Salech's injury.

This is the reason BBM wanted a squad of this size. Everyone is good enough and everyone gets a chance.

Everything you knew from the 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's, 20-teens forget, he is doing it his way, and you need to accept it. Apart from the keepers, you all play, there are no "squad" players. He doesn't want loads of of suited-and-booted players in the players' lounge on game days.

We are going to toss around, play it to the keeper between the sticks, he'll do a Cruyff turn etc.... We just have to get used to it.

Yeah I know I was putting a player and a back up for each position.

Oxford had 20 odd players and signed a lot in January. The squad is full of players who will never get near the team and won’t play. That has to have an effect on the squad as a whole. One got disciplined for not trying in training.

A bad apple ruins the bunch.

I’d say I’m always confident that whoever comes off the bench will maintain the level we’re playing at or make it better.
