“ We have to be Patient / Their is No Time Scale “

Thu Feb 12, 2026 4:52 pm

BBM: “We to be patient and their is No Timescale, We have to be Really be Patient.”

"Yousef' has seen a specialist on his injury and he's making really good progress but no timescale on his return.”

“Yousef’s [Salech] is continuing his rehabilitation, so he won’t be available. Yousef’s seeing a specialist to have an update on his injury, and he’s making good progress, but no time scale. It’s not a common injury for us, so we just have to be really patient with him.“

I had a neck injury in work as a decorator along with concussion it to me about 6 weeks before I could start doing stuff above my head nerves and spinal cord can be very tricky, manipulation from a chiropractor helps but your confidence is shot to sh.t with the fear you cannot get yourself right.

That’s not good at all Monty

Also I said Rubin would be longer out than what was being said.

We can’t get anymore injuries as the Squad is getting a bit of a hammering with Davies out as well.

Plus Eli King

And No more sending offs Wintle

I landed on my neck once and it's extremely painful for a while.

But because he's had no significant damage, I'd expect he'll be back sometime next month.

Good news is we are coping well without him so far.

I fear if salec cannot return,
this could be our biggest f.ck up by not covering him and it's all down on kellyman staying fit with 16 games to go.

I hope you're right ned ,
but it literally knocks you about and mentally your fear is its not going to be right again ,and you know every defender will be piling into you.

Remember people said we'd struggle after Rubin got injured.

Didn't happen.

Plus "no timescale" doesn't mean he's out for months, it literally means there's no timescale. It could be two weeks, it could be a month.

Not arguing but how do you say it does' nt mean he's out for months when they say no timescale.?

For me the difference with the rubin injury is we had a ready made replacement who is as good if not better in Kellyman

We have no like for like with Salech and yes were doing OK without him but we can only play one way now we can't mix it up as we have no target man to play off

Hopefully it's only a few more weeks and he will be back but if teams figure out how to nullify the false 9 then there is no alternative until Salech is back which is why I felt we should have looked to bring in a temporary replacement in the window just for when we want to go a bit more direct if we're chasing a game

Ii got told a couple of weeks ago a minimum of 2 months. That came from Salech himself. We should definitely got a similar type of striker in if true.
