WALES EGG :

55 thousand unsold tickets for the six nations is crazy.

Four years ago, they would sell out within 24 hours of general sale, and tickets would be all over resale sites for ridiculous prices.

Loyal ‘egg’ supporters ‘supporting’ their team through thick and thin again, Annis! ;)

Hopefully, the local ones will spend their money at the CCS on Saturday instead! :ayatollah:

Resting on their laurels for far too long Annis ; expecting people to turn up whatever standard is on offer. You’re in trouble now. Can’t say I’ll be shedding a tear for them tbh.

It is indeed a very sad state of affairs - I spend my money at the City and Wales, both shaped balls.

My friends are old fashioned - all day stood up in the Old Arcade, no daffodils on heads, everyone puts folding money into a whip. Chicken curry and chips in Caroline St, last train home. Hopefully we get some French in and they can admire my new beret.

We don't drink in the game - we are there to watch the game, not to talk endlessly about shagging some schoolgirl (overheard conversation last season) or carry 4 pints of piss cider and spill most of it over folks.

So I celebrate both forms of football - I am actually looking forward to seeing one proper team on Sunday play some decent rugby, and hope the other team fronts up better than we did against the Germans last week.

WRU absolutely ripping off the paying public with pricing system to watch the Egg, hardly surprise public have said "Nope".

Little over two decades ago WRU had delegates from across the globe heading to wales to observe and study what was being done in our little nation that was making us such a prominent force in the world of Eggs.
Money came in and fat cats lined their pockets.

Penny by Penny the lack of reinvestment into grass roots, and regionals has now put us where we are now.

2015 Wales ranked No2 in the World.
2019 Wales ranked No1 in the World.
2026 Wales ranked No11 in the World.

We are the Manure United of the Egg World
