There's a reason Wales games moved to the CCS the FAW would do well to remember how poor the atmosphere was in the principality

Apparently, the move to the Principality was ultimately forced upon the FAW by UEFA, who wanted big capacity stadiums for their game; so with the Principality Stadium holding c.80k, it was a necessary move, if the competition was to come to Wales

The ‘plan’ to take Nations League games there is one of acclimatisation for the team before they play their first competitive match in the Euros 28 tournament

I agree it’s not great but I can see the logic from the team’s perspective

The stadium also gets the Opening Ceremony (and first game) and that in itself is huge for both our capital city and for Wales

Wales are likely to be at Euro 2028, either on merit or by default. Guess they need to get used to playing in that stadium.

My understanding is we are playing the entirety of the qualifiers from there

Going to be a tough old group whoever we draw in it! Bound to draw Belgium again!, No easy group whoever we draw, but for selfish travel purposes I hope its

German, Italy and Norway

I go to nearly all Wales home games and our Stadium is just about right for us and creates a great atmosphere.Really don’t see the point in playing National league games there my self as if we qualify as expected that should be enough to raise your game for the finals.
The stadium itself don’t need to prove itself for high end football matches as it’s done it all before.
For me winning football matches is more important than trialing the princepality.
