Annis,
it's got to be the biggest we only managed 19,500 when stockport came in 3rd and they brought 1500 ,
,but I do think we gave moved on and if fans want to be at a big atmosphere fame it does' nt get much bigger than 1st & 2nd going head to head, we can be the twelfth man i am also hoping for a big turn out this sat for luton.

As much as I like to agree with you both. I fear not
20k maximum kids football people working Saturday mornings etc will all have an impact.
And before the if it was man utd Liverpool etc we would get the numbers.
The difference is the south wales man utd Liverpool fans won't be turning up to Lincoln

We have 250,000 Fans Registered as Cardiff City Fans :bluebird:

If Plymouth can bring 3,000 here for a 12:30pm kick off and we’re shut, I’m sure Cardiff fans can travel a mile, 20 miles etc

Their are Trains / Busses / Cars etc

Who cares about the opposition’s name, It’s Cardiff City We Support and it’s not asking for much 25,000.

Bradford City get 22,000 and they are doing awful, they are surrounded by other clubs, we are not.

The Chelsea game showed we can still pack the stadium (not that it was ever in doubt) for big games. Love the optimism but I think we are what we are at the moment 20k seems to be the level of interest for league one games.

Preaching to the wrong person. I agree regardless of opposition ccfc are flying and should be supported. But the part timers are unlikely to turn up IMHO and regulars who do attend will be impacted by kids football etc

Exactly how I see it. Would love a full house for it but don't think we will. Main thing we need to bring is the noise

I'm with you there there, I've been disappointed with the crowds this season. The fan base is big enough. It just seems like no matter who we play in this league the crowd ends up just under 20k. It's also not helpful that the top of the table games get moved up to 12:30 it seems to always wipe off the extra few thousand we'd probably get for those games

We have a massive catchment and we know they are there, it should not matter the name of the opposition is.

I’m like you so disappointed.

Trouble is it won't be 25,000. A lot of kids play football Saturday mornings so knock at least 1000 off that.
I have my ticket already but don't finish work on a Saturday until 12 so its going to be a real struggle to make kick off unless I talk nicely to the boss who may let me go early.

Reminds me of that Hereford match when we were top 2 even though that was an evening kick off but I would be surprised to get near that attendance due to the stupid 12.30 kick off time.

Re: “ THE BIGGEST GAME OF THE SEASON “

To regular supporters/fans the fact that locals are not scrambling for tickets for what's being seen as a very important and crucial match against Lincoln City is baffling.
Regular fans are by definition regulars who will be there come rain or shine, semi regular or even irregular fans see things a little differently and watching the 'City' can always clash with other plans or commitments that may or may not allow for attending a 'City' game whether it be a crucial/important game or a not so important game.
A lot of this could possibly be because 'City' have had some absolutely crap seasons with as much entertainment value as watching paint dry. Granted this season's offering has been the exact opposite with good football and results with plenty of local youngsters making a name for themselves, but sometimes it's difficult for people to be persuaded that we have turned the corner also Lincoln doesn't have the same ring to it as say Bristol City or Ipswich Town.
If the dream keeps moving along and part time fans see we are the real deal this season then I believe crowds will improve towards the end of the season.
Regarding the "they would come if we were playing Chelsea" etc, it's understandable that part timers would want to see teams who are top Prem sides because they may not see the likes playing in Cardiff for years to come so is seen as a one off chance to see them and I'm sure the same thing would happen if any other league 1 side were playing the likes of Chelsea.
Just sticking my 10pence worth in.

Very good summary I believe. And exactly how I see it.
As I stated above the main thing is getting behind the team and making a noise against Lincoln. Yes we can encourage a few to go but ultimately they will only go if it suits them on the day.
Where the likes of us regulars are knowing we are going unless some unfortunate event stops us

Lincoln has a big test tommorow with an in form Bolton last 6 games they have drawn one and won 5.
