Yes we have turnbull , robertson and colwill who can slot in but he does a lot of unseen work
Like Colwill hes got a great engine allowing others to shine
His passing is under rated too
That sending off was nonsense and the rotherham player dived and got wintle sent off

He is, but if there’s one thing BBM does well is bring in players that perform at the same level and deliver. I think we have enough cover in that area to dominate an average Luton team.

Definitely a red in this day and age. Stupid decision making from (usually) our most sensible on the ball.
I was very critical of Wintle earlier in the season and doubted we'd win promotion with him in the team. I was very wrong. A very important player in this team, in this division.

He works so hard for the team, recycling possession especially receiving from the centre halves, or popping it forward into midfield.
As for the sending off it was soft but nowadays you are making the ref make a decision unfortunately doing what he did.

The role is vital, but I don't think Wintle is the only one in our squad who can do it.

Biggest cog .

Agree.
The good thing about this squad is there is always someone to step in if someone is unavailable. Which is why I've never bought the argument that the squad is too small. The exception to that was LB but that's now changed with the addition of Scanlon.
It's why I didn't panic as others did when Rubin got injured. Of course it will be great to have him back but I was always confident we would continue to get results without him, and we did.

Osho.

He's definitely in the running for player of the year. It remains to be seen if anyone else can play the role.... I suspect we'll be fine, this was said about Salech and Rubin but we just keep on rolling

My player of the year so far. Has had a lot of stick on here over the years. Like Whitts (I'm not comparing calibre) he does a lot of the dirty work, keeps us ticking over, always available for a pass and works his socks off. No song for him, but he is outstanding at this level.

Totally agree with the op wintle is the main cog in my opinion does the unseen work others don't do but it don't matter how good a player thinks he's is or isn't if your not working your socks off with the press or doing the mileage over the duration of a game BBM will take you out the team or you won't play. That's one thing I've noticed with his style of playing over the season you either stick a shift in or you'll be changed ( if there's another waiting)

Recycling , thats the word
BBM wants us dominating the ball and we dont do that if its going straight up front

Hes stronger in the tackle than he was , he isnt big framed but he can mix it
As can Joel Colwill

No coincidence we've played the best football of the season in the last two games.
