Does anyone know how FFP works?
My understanding is Chelsea and Villa gamed the FFP rules by each buying a U21 from each other for £20 mill thus offsetting their deficit by £20 mill as it's classed as pure profit. If they make a £15 million loss on him, does that count against them?

I think there is an option to buy Trott though, or have I got that wrong ?
