Ollie Tanner

He's received a lot of stick from some on here recently, granted he loses the ball sometimes but I think that's a natural consequence of trying to take people on. His stats speak for themselves 7 in 13 blows the rest of the league away

He seemed out of sorts for a while today, but everybody has a shit game in them at times. Main thing is he grafted and made things work

Wow, that's quite a remarkable stat tbh. Not far off from double everyone else's assists in the league if you pro rata it.

Always plays someone else in who's in a better position, but needs a goal himself soon too.

Also agree about sometimes losing it when taking people on - bound to happen. Most teams have him flagged as the dangerman and have 2 men on him. Which frees up other attackers...

Just watched the goal replies for the game against Rotherham. Tanner's passing to Kellyman was inch perfect and allowed Kellyman to pick his spot. His pass to Willock was absolutely superb. I think there is a good reason why BBM rates him.

Agreed - and the way he took the high ball down so expertly before his pass, was just sublime and a lovely reminder of his goal against the caravan club :bluebird:
