Think it's probably between us, Lincoln, Bolton and Stockport for top two now.

So it helps that Stockport dropped points at home. Another great result for Lincoln though.

I'd be very surprised if any of the chasing pack catch us or Lincoln. Boltons run in is horrendous.

8 points clear of third with a game in hand, 10 points clear of 4th and with our goals difference its effectively an extra point.

Will need a huge run from one of the chasing pack to catch us at this point

quietly confident that we will get there.

I’m not counting my chickens yet. We’re in a fantastic position. We’ve still got to play Lincoln and Bolton if we lose both of those Lincoln would overtake us and Bolton would be a couple of wins off us. Plus accounting for the other games we’re not going to win them all. I’m 80% sure we’ll do it but you never know with football

Lincoln play Bolton next. Any outcome suits us.

30 games in, another solid milestone!

I'd rather Lincoln beat Bolton if I'm honest, (as long as we beat Luton), though a draw would be good too. Wont be happy with a Bolton win there, especially if we slip up against Luton, who are in there fighting for a play off spot themselves.

As long as the current points per game ratio stays the same, then I have the follwing table after 46 games:-

Cardiff avg ppg 2.10 = 97 points
Lincoln avg ppg 2.03 = 94 points
Bolton avg ppg 1.77 = 82 points
Stockport avg ppg 1.77 = 81 points
Bradford avg ppg 1.69 = 78 points
Huddersfield avg ppg 1.58 =73 points
Luton avg ppg 1.50 = 69 points
Stevenage avg ppg 1.45 = 67 points
Wycomber avg ppg 1.43 = 66 points

Of course thats a rough guide as some of the above have to play each other so the ppg will vary but it's looking good.

Anyway, win all our remaining 16 games and it's academic anyway.

I'm guessing that if the points per game ratio above does stay the same, (and Bolton have a brutal last 5 games btw) I think as soon as we pass I would say 83 points we can relax a little and start celebrating, whether we finish first or second, as Bolton PPG indicates they will get to 82 max, and Stockport 81.

Top 3 all play each other, thankfully we play both at home
