The Stockport ref - Paul Howard

I kept my eye out for him since the game.
It looks like the EFL book games in 2 week slots, so he was already assigned games after ours, but he is not reffing this weekend (i can't find him anywhere) and is booked to ref midweek Veru trophy games. He was VAR (unbelievable) in an EPL game though
So i am guessing the assessment of his performance was on par with ours.......Terrible

That’s interesting but I never get involved with the refs - probably comes from decades of playing competitive football with qualified refs!
Saying that I’ve noticed the standard at L1 is very poor.
