Wed Feb 04, 2026 12:42 pm

Praise The Dictator:

Never ever will be Forgiven by Me:

Lied to My Face, gave his word We would Stay Blue:

Changed our Kit and Badge and Laughed at us:

Tan Stripped is off our Pride and Identity and Divided the Fans

Tan has put us in more Debt than We ever were

Tan got us promoted twice and each one ended in Disaster

Three Relegations

When Tan came Were a Championship Club £30 plus Mill in Debt

We are now a League 1 ( Division 3 ) Club at least £110 Mill in Debt

Being also Charged £3.8Mill in in Interest by His Chairman Dalman

Tan could off Sold up 5 times, any Debts he is paying are Caused by him and his Clowns END OFF:

As far as I'm concerned tan destroyed this club and can never be forgiven, he turned friends against each other and ripped the fan base in half

Cost me years supporting my club as I refused to set foot in the stadium from the minute we turned red until we went back to blue

People say he did this and that for the club when facts are we are back where we were 25 years ago in more debt than ever

Sadly you’re so right.

Tan broke so many hearts and the lies are beyond.

Watch out! You can't tell the truth on here or the clown supporters will tell you to wobble your head. Tan out!

You can extremely dislike Vincent Tan, which I do (boycotted every game in that red monstrosity) and also not let him get you angry anymore.

There is a middle ground, it’s not Tan hater or Tan lover. I’ve wasted enough hatred and energy on the man, and he doesn’t care one bit about me or my club. I’m not prepared to continue to be angry about a man in Malaysia that I’ll (thankfully) never meet.

Well said Annis.

To forgive someone, they first need to apologise, and we all know Tan will never do that. Not that I would forgive him even if he did.

That game when the red scarves were handed out was the darkest day supporting city. Not just because they handed them out but because about 95% of so called supporters took one and proudly wore it. The image of the concourse under the Ninian was a sea of red and will haunt me til my dying day.

Sadly a little bit of glory in League 1 / Div 3 and a few suddenly love Tan, I have NO Respect for them and don’t even bother to speak to them.

TAN OUT

People seem to forget all that because of the position we are in in League One, if we get promoted Tan needs to invest in the club, give BBM the financial support unless all the people will pop back up and then we go backwards.

The problem is Howie, a few are easily bought off by a bit of false glory. :bluescarf:

Life is way too short for me to spend my time hating on someone with no possible chance of it changing things.

I’m old school even to the point of massively preferring the blue shirts with white shorts rather than the all blue!

I hated the red with a passion and cringed when there were grown men with their kids all decked out in red sat around me.
f*cking hated it.

I’ve been on every walk/demo except one.

I’ll never forgive or forget.

I know mate and I agree. He does cast a sorry dark cloud over the club. The day he leaves I’ll throw a party!

I’m with you on that live the blue and white.

I hated the the change of badge in the early 2000s when we changed to that hideous black and yellow thing when the dragon was strip away from us, so disrespectful. They haven’t improved since then to be honest. Gates being lied to about the season ticket sales. Hated selling all our best players and the constant bad management of our finances putting at risk of going out of existence. Hate loans being made to club for the benefit of various owners and then used to make a profit from us to the point of putting us on the brink of going out of business. I hated the red I hated the premier league, and all the crap that comes with it, I hate filling our stadium because they there to watch the other teams.

I loved most of all the fa cup and league cup runs. What memories what great seasons. I’m also loving this season surrounded by true card fans. Not entitled fans who think we have a god given right to be in the premier league. We just not a premier league club and I’m ok with because what we have is the greatest club in the world.

I’ve gone off point somewhat there. I’ve been angry with all previous and current owners and will be with the next no doubt. But I have to give my head a wobble and forgive because it’s just football, and pales to insignificance to the real world.

I think we need some perspective here.

Read this story if a mother can find it in her heart to forgive this driver with no apology then surely we can all at least move on with things.

Yes Ian, perfect.

Ian,
He lied to my face regarding the Rebrand after nearly a 4hr Chat.

How anyone can praise him, I really don’t understand.

Forgiveness is a sign of strength, not weakness. You don’t need someone’s permission to forgive them.

We can’t constantly be angry about this. We have had great success in League One and it’s felt great to be a Cardiff City supporter once again. By supporting Cardiff City, you’re not supporting the owner or the board. I can continue to support charities, even if I think those leading it aren’t fit for the job or the best people.

Forgiveness is strength. Once bitten twice shy.

I forgive Tan but I’ll never forget the state he’s left this club in. But I’ll continue to support the club and those who wear the colours, including the staff, if I think they’re the best people for the job.
