What a great picture!

I had a stool that my dad made for me and I used to stand on it on the Bob Bank in the 70s.

I remember having difficulty getting it through the turnstiles.

Brilliant memories.

I was probably sat above you on the first cross beam on the floodlight leg.

We were just WAITING to be electrocuted.

Thanks for the photos of the Grange End posted BUT ..... thats not the OLD GRANGE END i am talking abput im sorry. The one i am talking about went back up to the top as much as the Bob Bank did. It was dark in there right at the back . The one you have posted photos of came well after the Old Grange End was sadly demolished and made a lot smaller.

I'm guessing you mean when the entrance was 50p cash only & only the posh entrances for the seats had tickets. Oh yeah and you went under the Grange End to get a cup of Bovril & a pie or for a piss or to get to the Bob bank once the fences went up. I came from the train station at Grangetown for the games as this was where the Barry trains let off & that was the only entrance gates I ever used.
