Even in the final minutes it was Burton attacking more they virtually missed a sitter to win the game.

AN ALEX ROBERTSON DOUBLE SAVED CARDIFF AN EMBARRASING DEFEAT


CARDIFF NEVER GOT IN THEIR STRIDE AND THE WORST I HAVE SEEN THEM PLAY FOR A LONG TIME.

FIRST-HALF: WORST 45MIN FOR A LONG TEAM AND EVEN WORSE AS BURTON IN BOTTOM 4 AND WE SHOULD OF LEARNT FROM OUR FIRST GAME V BURTON.

It was all Burton for 10mins and in the 11th min they deseredely took the lead, Goal! Burton Albion 1-0 Cardiff City
A long throw-in from the home side causes all sorts of problems for Cardiff and Jake Beesley is able to open the scoring with an acrobatic finish.

Burton were by far the better team and Cardiff were virtually 2nd to everything, Ref never helped.

The half was Burtons and they deserved their lead.

Any chance, before thw window closes, we can get Swansea to take Robinson on loan!!

Could have gone either way at the end. This board never gives credit to the opposition. Fair play to Burton gave us a good game.

We didn’t play well, but ref was awful, pitch was heavy and that didn’t help.

Obviously would like to go up as champions but Promotion is the only target and we still have a very nice gap between us and 3rd

If feel like that’s points dropped, as we should be winning games like this. Some poor performance and weird changes. The standard of refereeing and linesman is so bad in this league as well which doesn’t help. We are still top of the league, but teams are catching us up. Would be nice to add some additions to the team, but I can’t see it happening.

I'll always take a draw away from home but I felt they got a lucky break with their second, overall a draw was a fair result & there's no need for all the melt downs over one game that we didn't lose.

That was 2 points thrown away by resorting to this stupid messing about at the back.

When we are winning by just I goal with 15 minutes to go, surely we should be making sure the ball is well out of our penalty area, instead of this stupid slow passing of the ball to each other. Not only is it boring, but it is dangerous as it invariably ends up with Trott, who certainly doesn’t live up to his name!! Silly foul by Chambers on the edge of the box though, which led to their equaliser. He had a decent game though.


The team picked by BBM today was a weird one with Kpakio playing left back, Bagan sitting on the bench. Kpakio cannot defend at right back, and should be nowhere near the defence. Why we don’t play him on the wing is puzzling.
Having said all this, the referee was of a poor standard as usual, and how he didn’t give us a penalty for the foul on NG in the first half was unbelievable.

A draw seems fair today from reading the match feed. We gotta be disappointed with the result and performance though and all the teams around us won.

Robinson a passenger by the seems of it and Kpakio getting subbed suggests he wasn't having the best of games either. Strangely 2 positions that most of us are calling for reinforcements in.

Come on BBM, I know you have a lot of faith and loyalty for these boys you work with. I also know you'd take immense satisfaction in finishing the job with only those same boys too. There is still an awful long way to go though, there are tired legs out there and tired brains. It needs freshening up! It needs that little injection to get us over the line.
