Depends how you read this. I read it as BBM being diplomatic.

If he said "we will definitely make a signing before the deadline" and then a move falls through, he'll look like an idiot.

I doubt anything has changed from the rest of the window. He wants a LB and we'll probably bring one in.

So I'll judge it on Monday night.

But having said all that, I will be extremely disappointed if we don't bring in a LB. Puts way too much pressure on Bagan staying fit.

It's very frustrating knowing a couple of quality additions just to cover any potential injuries would almost certainly see us over the line

If we fail to go up this season due to a couple of injuries to key players from February onwards because tan failed to back bbm when he needed it most then I for one would be extremely annoyed

Monty don’t upset Tan Junior

Realistically this season I’m not sure we are absolutely desperate for cover as this team is obviously good enough for promotion. The problem will be next season if the situation continues.

That's exactly what I've been saying for an age he has to say such things but you'll always get the "wait and see and we are top anyway" types then tell everyone they was wrong if we sign 1 player with 6 Hours to go in the window who's going to take 4 weeks to get up to speed from some u21 side on loan that's how mental we have become as fans
