I was the season ahead of you (68/69) and also with my dad, then later with my uncle!
Stood in the same place on the Bob Bank for years until the seats, at which point we were moved a little further down the stand and then into the new stadium
Always loved the atmosphere and particularly in the floodlight games and I was hooked for a lifetime!

76/77 season league cup (as it was then) game home to QPR who had just finished 2nd in the old first division. We lost 3-1 with Tony Evans scoring a late consolation.
Stan Bowles was incredible

Walked down as an 11 year old with my mate Stephen Millward who was a Birmingham City fan but lived in Cardiff as his dad was the caretaker for Cathays Cemetery from Cathays where I lived at the time on a misty January night v Sunderland in the 77/78 season and was amazed by the old style floodlights and the steam coming off players, a 5-2 win that night but cant really remember much of the game. Stood right up next to the pitch against the surrounding wall.

Can't remember the year but it was around 1965/66, my Dad took me down from where we lived in Llanishen, we stood under the floodlight between Bob bank and Grange end (by the smelly open air toilets), can't remember the opponents but remember they played in green so could probably narrow it down to Norwich/Plymouth. Been a Bluebird ever since with no interest in being a plastic Prem fan.

Early 90s for me
My sister actually won 2 tickets for a game against Hartlepool in the old division 3 we won 2-0
My dad was already a season ticket holder so he took me and my brother and i think he was getting worried we would grow up to be man utd supporters
but after that game I was hooked on the bluebirds(fck manu)

My dad took me when I was 7 in 1973 v Huddersfield in what was then Division 2.
We went on the Grange end at the front and city won 4 -1. I can't remember much about the game itself other than our goalkeeper was Bill Irwin.
We went to an odd game or two after that but then in 75/76 season we had season tickets in the Canton Stand and the city have been making or breaking my heart ever since!!

City were always in the ECWC, first game for me when my father took my older brother and his friend to Ninian Park and I tagged along. Torpedo Moscow, we won 1 nil, Barry Jones. His friend even went to the away leg ,an very arduous trip to Tashkent.

This is difficult but true.
Argyle fan for the best part of 35 years, had a mental breakdown (many reasons) and had no interest anymore of going to football.
My University friend contacted me so I visited him for a few days (he is Cardiff born and bred) he took me to watch City v Brighton (1-3) and I fell in love with football again, supported the Blooobirds ever since (about 15 seasons now and loved every minute of it)
How do I feel when City play Argyle, well 100 per cent want City to win.

1962 /63 first time for me, my dad took me and my older brother versus Wolves, can't remember the score we were in the Grange End boys enclosure, had to take some evasive action as we were always near to the goal. Great memories.
