Salech Injury Video

Sun Jan 25, 2026 11:13 pm

Has anybody got a video or footage of the Salech injury? Or should I say attack? I was watching the game live but I needed the toilet. So, when I came back I didn’t know what happened and the commentators were talking about it. But I had no clue what went on.

I would like to see it because people have said it was really bad.

Many thanks

Watching it live I thought they both went for the ball and it was an accident. Not seen a replay but I'm just glad Salech is not seriously injured.

None of the highlights are showing it but on the ccmb board there is a link on the match thread where you can watch the full 90

Accidental collision, Salech unfortunate to come off worse but just relieved he's got no serious injury.

As already said, it was a total accident and very unfortunate how he landed. Fortunately, it looks like Salech will make a swift recovery.

The sly elbow on Wintle was the incident we should all be complaining about. I still can't understand how all the officials missed it.

Hill sees Salech jumping up to his left and deliberately lifts his elbow and then comes down on his neck which was better seen from the Ninian.

From what I saw live and from the video, I still believe Hill deliberately elbows Salech and then comes down on his neck.

I don't believe any player would deliberately target someone's neck, Salech came of worse from a 50/50 jump, if it had been the other way round the song "Let him die would have been reverberating around the Canton.

He is ok that's the main :bluebird:

I don't think he deliberately targeted Salech neck, just targeted Salech with his elbow and then came down on his neck because his elbow wasn't in a natural position.

Exactly how I saw it, in family stand I was right behind it and seen the elbow go into salech which caused salech to fall at an awkward angle and brought hills down on top of him

I’m with you on this and find it incredulous that some of our own are trying to excuse the thug’s actions!

Brad Hills, as I’ve said elsewhere, was a disgrace all through the game; and I was pretty vocal telling the Stockport ‘fans’ who thought they’d won the league, on the way out!

Not one put up a defence! :(

Exactly how I saw it as it happened & nothing I've seen since has changed my mind.

I agree with those that say it was a deliberate elbow.

But I said at half time that a big problem was the referee didn't immediately stop the game. There was a clear serious injury that the referee was looking at but he didn't stop the game until he gave a foul and yellow card against one of our players just after.

Whether you think it's a foul or not, the match should have been stopped immediately - that's the protocols.
