LABOUR COWARDS!

Sun Jan 25, 2026 12:14 pm

Just rejected Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham’s bid to become an MP again!

They’re saying there were ‘practical reasons’, including costs, but this smacks of political barring as the Davros loving Prime Minister clings on to power for a little longer whilst he sells the UK off to Jonny Foreigner!

In the past I had many meeting with him Thou our politics are not aligned I always found him excellent to work with in projects when he was first elected as mayor. He was straight forward and always upfront in dealing
He certainly would be a major challenge for the PM

This won't end well for Starmer and could be the decision that signs his death warrant as leader.

Many in the party, including me, see Burnham as a future leader. The fact he was a real challenge to Starmer is the only reason his mates on the NEC have blocked it.

Unless the PM dies or is seriously ill, then resignation should result in a general election. I am of the same view when the Tories did it every three months and remain so now.

We now have leader debates that allow people to make their local choices. Yes, that's presidential, but that's where we are.

Starmer was the leader of Labour when they won a landslide. You can't let members of a party be allowed to change the direction of the country without consultation.

Starmer is as weak as piss and hides behind whatever rules and process he can muster for defence of all his actions.

Lifted straight from Wikipedia!

dictatorship is a form of government which is characterized by a leader who holds absolute or near-absolute political power. Politics in a dictatorship are controlled by a dictator, and they are facilitated through an inner circle of elites that includes advisers, generals, and other high-ranking officials. The dictator maintains control by influencing and appeasing the inner circle and repressing any opposition, which may include rival political parties, armed resistance, or disloyal members of the dictator's inner circle

They reached the turmoil in 14 months it took Tories 14 years and Labour had a cheek judging the Tories.

Vote Reform and let's be done with the two main parties.

Reform who are basically Tory rejects. That’ll work.

Do you believe the current incumbents are doing a good job? Maybe ask a farmer, pensioner or a tax payer? Putting a stop to juries and halting elections :?

Of course not but far right Tory politicians dressed up as something else isn’t the answer.

If you think reform is the answer I’m not sure what country you want. Seen how America is going.

Jonny Foreigner. That's what the Tories done.
Water Gas Electricity including the national grid sold off
As for Burham his tenure ends in 2028
with an election in 2029
If he was elected leader close to an election
he wouldn't need to be an M. P as Parliament would be in recess
Also there are elections to the Labour
NEC this year. Bad defeats in Wales & Scotland would hasten Starmer demise

The left has form and is bent. Look at what Kim Howells and Tyrone O’Sullivan did with the mines. Disgraceful arrogance Howells now regrets.

It’ll be interesting to see where the US is going. 2025 Lowest murder rate across the whole country since 1900. And virtually no illegal entry on the southern border.
We don’t seem to be able to drop murder or crime rates in any city over here. Let alone nationally.

It’s terrifying to see where the US is going.

No illegal entry because no one wants to live there.

I would suggest any discrepancy in stats should not be believed.

The US isn't terrifying at all. Two people have died being very stupid. Don't get in fights with armed cops really really simple.

As far as this country is concerned Reform will win as immigration is out of control and has been for far to long. Burnham is actually better off not mounting a leadership challenge. Labour is dead in the water at this point, Churchill could be in charge and they still wouldn't get votes.

I think Reform will win in England but Scotland will have an SNP government and Wales could end up with Plaid, which would destroy the country.
