Kion Etete has today joined St. Mirren on loan for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.

I hope he stays injury free for his sake - delighted he isn't our reserve striker in case something happens to Salech or Robbo.
I was thinking about Rudy Gestede, reminds me a bit of Etete, except Rudy had a bit of physicality which with our dead ball strength at the time worked ok for him when he was our back up striker.

Of all the clubs he played for, Rudy was only prolific with one of them and that was Blackburn.
If Etete can stay fit, and it's a big if, there may yet be a club out there for whom he can prosper....but it isn't going to be Cardiff City.

Good luck to him up there, he deserves a break in his playing career rather than in his bones & hopefully he's successful & they want to keep him.

Good to see him go back out on loan for game time.
Good luck to him

Some posters love to slag this guy off and call him derogatory names but I feel a bit sorry for him.
It’s not his fault he suffered these injuries as some players are just like that.
I don’t think he’ll make it as a Cardiff City player but I wish him luck and hope he stays injury free.

His injuries have certainly hampered his career but I think the fact that he’s incapable of putting a shift in has held him back more

I really hope it is a good move for him
He’s had so much bad luck injury wise.

Bugger thought we would see him one last time scoring a hat trick on Saturday

he would fall over during the warm and be out for 3 months lucky enough he's not here now . Absolutely crap he is even when fit in my opinion.

I was sure for a while there was a real player in there. I remember arguing with a mate of mine that he could be something really special! Part of me probably still believes it somewhere. However I trust in BBM and if him and his staff don’t feel he can be of use then neither do I. Great to have a manager we can actually trust and believe in for once
