With us being top (at the time of writing)...
Who Are Our Biggest Rivals in L1, with regards to winning the title? And Why...

I'm voting Stockport. I think they, with Norwood, are a very good team and only slid down a bit when he was injured.
I think if we finish above them, we'll go up auto.
I keep saying "I can't see Lincoln lasting" as per Stevenage's recent slide; but they are still there.
I think/hope it'll be:
1. Cardiff City
2. Stockport Country
3. Bradford City
4. Bolton Wanderers
5. Luton
6. Lincoln City

I'm saying Bolton.
They have been creating great chances but just not taking enough of them. That can change.
That said, it might be tough for them to catch us. But they can definitely catch Lincoln and Bradford.
I don't think either Lincoln or Bradford will finish in the top two.

Yeah, fair. The reason I put the poll up is, I think any of the top 7 could have a bash at it. There doesn't seem to be significant gaps forming; other than us slightly pulling away and trending that way.
Great result for us last night with Stevenage and Bolton drawing 0-0!!

Bolton for me, too! However, Stockport are a close second on my list, as I expect Lincoln to fade back as the season progresses
It’s in our own hands now and wins on Saturday followed by Tuesday would cement our position at the top!

Bradfords next 6 games feature Huddersfield away, Lincoln Home, Luton away and Stockport home.
Just by nature of the top 6 facing each other in the next 6 games, we should see a better picture.
2 wins in these next 2 games for us, and I think we can start to enjoy the run in! I'd take 4 points, with a win against Stockport.

I've always thought Luton would be pushing for automatic, they had a bit of a nightmare start to the season but are starting to make waves so Luton for me.

Prior to Christmas I thought Bolton would be our biggest challengers but they've since almost disappeared off the radar. I can't look beyond Bradford and Lincoln. Stockport even if they beat us will still be 7 points adrift, 8 if you take goal difference into account.
Many expect Lincoln to fall away like Stevenage but they've got a strong team and an excellent manager, so for me they are our biggest rivals.

I just checked out of curiosity; last years runaway winners Birmingham City who spent BIG last season, were on 57 points after the same games played as us at the time of writing this post. 2 point difference.
Not a bad yardstick!!

I thought Bolton but watched the full 90 of there game last night and they were really poor, dunno what's happened to cozier-dubbery as he looked brilliant earlier in the season but last night looked average at best
I think Stockport and Lincoln will be the two teams to push us

That’s even better than I thought we had achieved so far

As a reality check they only dropped 6 points in their last 20 games. Quite remarkable.

Some players like him have to be overplayed and will be very tired as the season progresses. BBM's rotation and resting players and possession-based football give me confidence we will be less tired than our opponents' best players and that we will have a strong second half of the season.

This is the reason they are favourites above Lincoln and Bradford to go up with the bookies, the xg table has them top even above us.
They looked great in the game against us, so have Lincoln and Bradford though. Personally don't see it happening. Striker is the premium position and it looks like that's the issue with them

Bolton for me.
Big club, big following and I expect them to have a strong second half of the season.

I’ve voted Lincoln, they’re the ones to watch, in the run up to Christmas the went on a nice simmer as they climbed the table relatively unnoticed. They’re the team I believe are the ones to watch for this season
