The cost of this ticket to watch AC Milan at the San Siro ju

The cost of this ticket to watch AC Milan at the San Siro just goes to show you how much of a rip off some Premier League and Championship clubs really are..

Football in the UK would be so much better and affordable for families if prices were more like this

The whole of the UK is one big rip off. Can’t wait to retire and get the hell out. (Sadly a while away yet)

What a sad statement to make - I am friends with many Italians, they do not think highly of their own country in money terms at all, but unlike some Muppets in the UK do NOT constantly slag it off despite their many issues.

We are an expensive country to live in I agree - we are also the 6th richest country in the world. Whilst it might not feel like it to folks, it is a fact.

I can't stand slagging off our own place - smacks of being English.

Sidenote - City prices are fabulous value for money, my ST means I pay less than £11 a game.

I've been to the San Siro - its a dump!

You carry on feeling how you want to feel. I’ll leave whenever I get the chance and won’t look back.

I’m only 46 so nowhere for a long while. My mate just moved to Australia and I’m very jealous. I’ll have to reassess when closer to retirement….and get the missus on board which might be the hardest thing haha

But that's part of the reason the Italian league isn't close to the Premier League in quality.

When it comes to the Premier League, it is in general the highest quality league in the world - unfortunately that has come at a price for fans.

Although they do have a £30 cap on away tickets, which the EFL should also do in my opinion.

This is highlighted by Premier League teams winning the Champions League in three of the last seven seasons. An Italian club hasn't won it since 2010.

Only really Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and PSG can compete with the top PL teams.

But it's not just the top teams. A mid table PL team is a lot better than a mid table team in other nations.

Like I say, unfortunately that success for the Premier League has come at a cost for fans. I don't it that that's the case, but it's the unfortunate truth.

Leaving is a lot easier said than done I would imagine now the U.K. is out of the EU & you can't just up & move to too many countries if any at all.

There’s only 27 countries in the EU and it’s fairly easy to emigrate there. All whingers are encouraged to leave, but most won’t unfortunately.

I haven’t whinged, I’ve said I’d like to leave this country when I retire and you and the other chap have got your knickers in a twist.

Australia not as easy as some might think, particularly after a certain age; but I wish anyone who wishes to try another country/lifestyle a shot, the very best of luck!
